• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hey, everyone!
I actually found this forum a year ago or so but didn't have the cash or wherewithal to take care of my own pets. I'm back at it again, soon to have a western hognose. I decided I might as well make myself a regular to familiarize myself with reptile lingo and a husbandry mindset. I'm currently in community college transferring to UCI or USC next fall. I've kept a variety of pets, everything including mice, 2 rats, 2 Guinnea Pigs, Capybara(jk), 1 Chilian Rose Tarantula, 2 Armored Lizards(so cool), 2 Corn Snakes, 3 turtles(too young to see different species), 4 cats (1 Siamese and her 2 kittens, 1 Persian), 2 dogs (1 mutt, 1 pure bred Air Dale Terrier) that we owned and a couple strays that I took in until animal services came by. I once found a king snake while walking home and took care of it for an afternoon. I found a Carpet Python coming out of a gopher hole(about 6 feet long), I picked it up and took it home for an afternoon as well. Those last two don't technically count toward experience but they do show my love for, and acceptance of reptiles(snakes specifically.
