Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently ordered 2 cornsnakes from Home Grown Herps and just wanted to express what a pleasure it was doing business with them. The snakes were even more beautiful in person than they looked on line. They arrived on time and well packaged. Jim responded to all my emails (I had some questions being a new snake owner) in a timely manner with good information. I waited 7 days before feeding the snakes at which time they fed on f/t pinkies with absolutely no problems.

I'm in the process of making my 2nd purchase from Jim Keenan of www.homegrownherps.com.
I have written to him several times over the past few mos and talked with him on the phone. Great guy to deal with I have to say, as it's not easy to win my trust.
He answers all emails promptly, sells only fine healthy animals. My first order arrived flawlessly and well packaged. The snakes were beautiful.

This guy gets A+ for Quality, Communication, and Support. I am happy to reccomend Jim to anyone considering purchasing from him.
 
I have bougth from Jim many times. On one of my order two snakes arrived DOA.
Jim was great in putting the credit for the losses toward my next purchase.

His service and communication are superb.
 
I have never dealt with Jim, however, I know him and I would not hesitate to deal with him. Jim is a good guy and trusted friend in my book.
 
Excellent Guy! Jim @ Home Grown Herps

I've been meaning to post this for a few days. I got my b/f Jeff a cornsnake from Home Grown Herps and we couldn't be more thrilled. He was hatched in July and I got him the last week in November and he weighed 9.5 grams. We kept him exactly like Jim said in his instructions.

We started the pinkies (F/T) after 7 days and fed once a week for the first three weeks, at the end of three weeks we started handling him a little each day and we started feeding every 3 days with 1 f/t pinkie. He's been eating like a champ and has gained about 3 grams. He's really growing and getting ready to shed with the milky look in his eyes. He ate like a champ from the first feeding! He calms down really quickly and he's beautiful. I gave him to Jeff at his family's Christmas party and his mom freaked but all the nieces wanted to hold him. I think I can move some snakes for you Jim! They all want one!

I experienced excellent communication from Jim along with very professional service. I sent the payment out to him and he shipped exactly when he said he would and the package arrived in pristine condition with excellent packaging and the snake was in great shape, exactly as pictured.

Kudos to you Jim...definately one of the GOOD GUYS.....thanks for the new addition, I'm sure you'll hear from us in the future. We are going to need a female for long term planned breeding projects.

You will be hard pressed to find a better guy than Jim.
Although I haven't bought anything from Jim yet, he has some awesome pits that he constantly teases me with by posting pictures on the the forums and I plan on making a purchase this spring.
