In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just wanted to clear something up. Mario insinuates that:
1.) H.I.S.S. is not a "legitimate" business and that we do not pay taxes.
That is not true, H.I.S.S. has been a legal, taxpaying business since 1982. I thought about scanning a copy of our Tax ID# and posting it on his site but really don't want to give Mario the traffic.
2.) He also has this ridiculous idea that I am "in it for the money" (breeding leopard geckos). Anyone that knows me and has been to my home knows that is utter crap. I keep and breed leopard geckos because I love them and enjoy working with them. His figures are completely off too. I actually have closer to 75-100 adult leopard geckos in a year, and during the height of the breeding season I can have as many as 300-400 hatchlings/juveniles/subadults here. Mario has no clue how much it costs to care for that many animals, not only monetarily but also how much time it takes. I am lucky if I get 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night. Mario is not capable of understanding why I do what I do, he is obviously not a true herper with the passion for reptiles that many of us have.
Just figured since Mario's rant on "Kelli the rich leopard gecko breeder" was posted here I would reply.

Just because I long to be in Military inteligence....then go to red lobster and eat JUMBO shrimp.. does not mean i am qualified to figure out what he says.
False lies are false. meaning they are not really lies. And if they are not lies....then they are the truth.

While me sending him a virus is a lie................it is a false lie because he never said I did it. He just suggested that I did it.
Just like me saying that he says I attacked hiim in the past...it is one of the false lies. Because me attacking him in the past is a lie.....but him saying I did is a false lie because he never said I did it... he suggested / asked if I did.
Well that is his cop out.
I just wonder how many other Lunas are hanging around the forums besides me. And I wonder if anyone else saw this Luna besides Mario.

Is Mario maintaining a list of those people and businesses actively joining him in his boycott? I would have thought he would be proud to show such a list.
I logged onto Mario's site tonight, as I am on the laptop. I won't do so with my main system and get that "virus" program he launched at me the last time I logged in there with it. I still don't see anyone participating in the threads he has about this site in his forums. Am I looking in the wrong places? All I see are HIS posts about Fauna.
And I do have to thank him for extending the boycott to my SerpenCo.com site. I would have had a heck of a time keeping up with filling my orders without it. I am thankful for him slowing the orders down so much so I wouldn't be overwhelmed......

So if Mario is selling Gecko's at $5.00. Let's say he's running everything smart and has his expenses worked down really low (ok, I know not likely but follow me here) and is making 100% profit. That's $2.50. This pays for his time. Let's say he spends 4 hours per gecko in taking care of them, writing ads etc until he sells them. That's a pay rate of $0.62 per hour pay rate. By his own standards that's his worth as a worker in American society.

I work at Walmart myself, and I can confidently say that it's probably easier than taking care of and selling up to 500 geckos.

Beats me. Just try his URL and see. One of the last times I went there, someone had set up a script on that domain to download something onto my system ( I guess via the IP address I used at the time) that started filling my screen up with garbage windows until I had to reboot my system. OK, I can tell when I am not wanted, so I took the hint.
The forums etc... all seem to be dead but I did find one link that brought you to the unfaunaclassifieds or something like that. Maybe he finally got some medication. Interesting though he exposed the faunaclassifieds (as if it is an entity of it's own). I'm just not sure what he exposed about it. Interesting fellow though. Wow that takes dedication to set it up an ambush you just when you log on his website.

PS As a side not Rich, if you look at this page (and maybe it's old information) he is obviously setting you up for a personal injury lawsuit. Granted, it would have no merit but nevertheless, probably something you want to be aware of.
