In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone else has had a terrible experience with superworms?

I bought some superworms. My biggest female threw up twice, the other female has thrown up once, and my biggest boy has diarrhea. and a couple of my juvie dragons are acting very sick as well.

Also, there was no substance or chems on my hands or on the worms... that's the first thing that came to my mind as well.

How many did you feed at once?
The only trouble I ever had with superworms and dragons was when I let them eat too many, they would throw up a little while later.

If that is their first taste of superworms, they often will gorge and then toss them back up. Even if it's not the first time it will happen occasionally. Diarrhea too.Smaller dragons should be given only a few at a time, the smallest worms in the bunch. They should be able to stomach them in no time....nothing to worry about at all.

Yeah, my dragons pig out on super worms... I actually decided to start my own little colony of super worms because sometimes they get bored with the crickets. Only one of the dragons, from what I can remember barfed from eating them, but like Angie said... It's cuz he ate too many too fast.

Well the smaller ones ate like only 3, but my large female ate 8 this morning, and then barfed them up.

and OMG, it smells a lot worse than poo!

Is it true with Super worms or other big crawlers you should pinch the head?
Some body told me that they can live for a lil bit and chew?

You don't have to!!! But it's neat when the dragons chew just the bottom part and leave the upper part where the head is, they still try to move... But they kinda die shortly after.

:D

I recomend not feeding more than 1 superworm the first time they have them Because I fed 2 to one and it threw up but the ones I only gave 1 to were Great!
