Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm thinking you are probably too young to even know who "Hoss" was. But that's o.k., as I barely remember myself! Lol.

David, you have done a great job so far! He is looking much better! He's a good lookin snake. And with the right female, he will make some good lookin babies! I want a pair! Keep up the good work!

That is a great looking snake you have there.
 
Yup, back in the 60s, when I was a kid, there was a t.v. show called "Bonanza". It's where Michael Landon got his start. One of the main characters was a big fella named Hoss. Lets hope your YT lives up to his namesake.

Hoss

The Bonanza character of Hoss Cartwright was played by Dan Blocker, an impressively large man with a gruff but lovable character. Dan costared with Frank Sinatra in his 1968 Tony Rome detective movie, "The Lady In Cement", in which Frank says to another character about Dan, "Don't shoot him, you'll only make him mad!"

"Dan Blocker" is also the name of an entertaining song by Gurf Morlix on his CD "Toad of Titicaca" (CCR 004).

All in all, Hoss is an excellent name for such an impressively large and imposing creature.
 
Thanks for the info! I heard the name and knew it was a character but didn't know much else. From the way this guy is going I am sure he will be a beast and live up to his namesake.
