    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ted Williams at House of Scales was extremely helpful and courteous. I purchased two beautiful high-yellow Jungle Carpet Pythons from him and they arrived early this morning, healthy alert and fiesty! Ted called several times during the transaction to keep me updated on shipping and payment info. I would gladly do business with House of Scales again. Thanks Ted!!

Ted was a great guy to do business with.... he was very honest and upfront about what I was getting. The snakes that arrived were as described to me and they were packaged well.

The phone is a much more reliable means of contacting him as it sounds like he stays very busy and does not get near a computer that often.

Ted is nothing short of, one of the BEST GUYS in this industry. I wouldn't HESITATE to deal with him again, or RECOMMEND him to anyone, anytime!:thumbsup:

OH, my gracious. He's just as wonderful as you all said!! So, so, SO helpful! I wish there was someway I could tell everybody about him!
 
Ted is fairly well known in the Carolinas. He is a great guy that I've known for a while and have bought feeders from numerous times and have always been happy. I know he is making some incredible hognose as well.

I hope he turns out to be as good as you all say after selling me a pastel het og female with a RI showing the day I got her. Only had her a month and she never got better. I do know what to do to treat it but to no prevail. She died last night. Plan on contacting him about it today. Not looking for refund or anything but hope he does something. I'm asumming he didn't know. We'll see how it goes. And just so everyone knows I am not bashing him.
 
Did you contact him immediatly upon receipt of the boa since you stated it had the ri just showing signs of the infection. And if it was just showing the beginning signs of an ri there should be no reason for it to die if in fact you treated it properly, ie...temps and humidity increases followed by vet visit and antibiotics if needed.

I don't know how long it had it. All I know is that it got increasingly worse very rapidly. And I do know what to do, its not my first rodeo with am RI. I did try emailing him about it shortly after i got her, but got no response. Could be because I screwed up his address as I found out when I emailed him today. The address I have written down didn't match what I put in initially. My fault. Hasn't been long since I emailed him today. Just waiting to talk to him about it.
 
Ted got in contact with me and everything is good. He is a great guy to work with. Everything on this issue is done and closed for discussion. I look forward to doing business with him in the future.
 
Not to take away from anyone I have met in the hobby, but Ted is the best one I have met so far. he is honest, and straight forward. I consistently travel five hours to do business with ted instead of people who are closer due to this. I can not recommend him enough. Having seen his setups I can tell you first hand they are marginally nicer than any others I have seen with his number of animals. He spares no expenses in caring for his snakes or rodents. And honestly cares about his animals and their condition.

All in all, Ted is a class A guy with a great sense of humor and an amazing personality. Anyone looking hognose, Bps, retics, heck anything, should contact him for your next purchase!

Long story short we just started collecting W. Hognose in 2012. We have aquired 41 animals since starting. One from Ted Williams, at House of Scales.
Yesterday 8-30-12 we recieved a shipment that was to contain (3) "Very well started little babies. Feeding on f/t pinky mice unscented" as it states in the Ad on K.S. What we got was (3)females weighing 4g, 4g and 2 grams. We will do our best to raise 2 of them as I don't think they would make the trip back. The 2g animal was deceased by 8 p.m. that night. We were offered a refund if we shipped them back. problem is we cant ship till tuesday 9-4-12. Anyway, we are just going to hope the best for the two that remain. No amount of refund will fix having to watch this animal who on arrival couldn't even make it's way out of the deli cup and weighed 2g's.
Upon seeing our post on KS, Matt from House of Scales, who Ted hired to take care of his online sales, offered us a great incentive deal to help ease the loss.
It's not about the money, we are talking normal hognoses prices here, but the gesture is worth a million dollars to us!

I ordered a female hognose from them. They answered any questions I had and even sent me a picture of here. They are great and have good prices on their snakes. I would not have a problem doing business with them again. Thank you guys for all the help.
 
done bussness with ted for about 4years now.. dude is the best and will bend over backwards to help somone even if hes not gonna make a cent
