Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Where do I buy house snakes from? I really like the different colors they had on the snakebytes episode about them, but I can't find any of those for sale. Does anyone know where to get house snake morphs that aren't brown and albino?
 
I like the green, red, Tanzanian stripes, aurora. There are probably others I don't even know about it is just I can't find someone who does the morphs and doesn't just sell browns.
 
finding someone who specializes in reds and the bright green fuliginosus will be hard to find in the US. There are olive colored fuliginosus that are sometimes sold as olive house snakes (although that name is actually for another species entirely) and they are a dark green that is nearly black. The correct name for this animal would be black fuliginosus so you may also see some sold as that, but you might want pictures o those first to make sure they look green enough for you. Ultimate exotics sells auroras, but only once every year or two and they are about $400 a pop, which is very expensive. The cape house snake comes in a striped variation if you aren't picky, but the species Boaedon lineatus is the true striped house snake, its lines are cleaner than those of the striped capes. Sabine Green has a breeding population of the lineatus, she's on Facebook regularly and on the house snake forums there so you should be able to ask her if she'll have any available there. I would suggest becoming a part of those house snake forums for more info on house snakes, if you are on Facebook, there are lots of owners on there as well as breeders so you can get any husbandry questions answered there.
