Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Would an 80g tank be too large for a couple leo's? or would this be a decent size? Right now I am housing 2 in a 29g long. Or I was thinking of buying like an old bookshelf or something and making the individual shelves into homes for the leos...that way they all have thier own. Which would be better?
 
As long as their basic needs are met, either should be fine. When useing something as large as an 80g, just make sure to provide PLENTY of hides.:)

I'm not sure about this but someone was asking about a 90g tank and someone said 9 minimum? apparently they might get 'lost'.

Just want to know if that applies here

I've never heard of a 9g tank...Would you perhaps mean 10g? A 15qt tub is the minimum for a single adult leopard gecko.

If their are plenty of hides, a group of Leopard Geckos (adults, not hatchlings) could live successfully in a large tank.
 
I think Jai, means 9 geckos min for a 90g. Some people think housing in very large tanks is more stressful for only a couple of leos, and that is most likely why you were told that. Having plenty of decorations and hides, should help when using a larger tank for only a couple leos.

LOL Three of us read it different, and Joshua I think you go it right. Now after reading that again, 9 hides is the topic. LOL
 
lol now that we are all sorts of confused...lol thanks for the help! I'm going to pick up the tank this weekend! Its a great deal either way, can't pass this up...80g for $50!
 
Man I wish I could find a deal like that around here. I did get a 50gal for $40 though, but it would be great to get a 80gal for $50
 
I have heard 1 leo per 5 to 10 gallons..I perfer 1 Leo to 10 gallons myself. in hence I have 2 leo's in a 20L although it could have 3 or 4 in it...just my 2 cents
