Hi Folks...
My wife has asked me to get rid of all of my critters...so I am in the process of selling them off. I would prefer that the buyer come from the Greater Houston area so that I can avoid any issues with packing/shipping my pets. I'm also trying to find all of these guys good homes...so I'm not just looking to make a buck here. In any case...here's what I have for sale:
1 Female Mexican Red-knee Tarantula (Brachypelma smithi):
Approximately 1.5 years old & 4-5" across. Voracious eater & has been well fed and cared for. Spider has never been handled. Comes with 5.5 gallon screened aquarium with hide, water dish, temperature & humidity gauge. Asking $100 OBO.
1 Female Rose Hair Tarantula (Grammostola rosea):
Approximately 2 years old & 4" across. Not as voracious an eater as Brachypelma smithi above...but still in great condition. Spider has never been handled. Comes with a 5.5 gallon screened aquarium with hide & water dish. I can't recall if the temperature & humidty gauge is attached on this tank as well. Asking $75 OBO.
3 Unsexed Emperor Scorpions (Pandinus imperator):
Approximately 2 years old & 5-6" from claw to mesosoma (abdomen). Voracious eaters and all are well fed & cared for. None of these scorpions have been handled. They come with a 20 gallon long screened aquarium with 3 hides, large water dish, temperature & humidty gauges. Asking $75 OBO.
Madagascar Hissing Cockroach Colony::
Approximately 50 adult Madagascar Hissing Cockroachs kept in a 20 gallon high aquarium with metal screen cover. Distribution of males to females is roughly 1 male to every 2 females. Several hundred baby roaches are running around the substrate as well & more females are showing signs of giving birth in the next few weeks. Tank includes several egg cartons for hides & 2 food dishes. Asking $75 OBO.
2 Lobster Roach (Nauphoeta cinerea) Colonies:
Approximately 1000 roaches in one colony & 500-600 roaches in other colony (I started the first colony about 6 months before the other). Roaches are stored in a 22 gallon Rubber Maid container. Lid has been cut & modified with a screen for ventilation purposes. Both colonies come with food dishes & egg cartons for hides. Asking $100 OBO.
1 Orange Head (Eublaberus prosticus) Roach colony:
Approximately 30 adult roaches & hundreds of juvenile/baby roaches in the colony. Roaches are stored in a 22 gallon Rubber Maid container. Lid has been cut & modified with a screen for ventilation purposes. Colony comes with food dish & egg cartons for hides. Asking $75 OBO.
Various Supplies:
1 20 gallon long screened aquarium ($40 OBO)
4 10 gallon screened aquariums ($20 each)
