    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was wondering if you keep your hovabator air holes opened.
thanks in advance.
and excuse my english.

Yeah I don't open them. My hovabator is in my bedroom.(Most stable temp room.) And the temps in there are mostly cool. I suppose it would depend on where you live and how hot it is where the incubator is.

theres air holes on my hovabator? lol. wow. Didn't know that one. Are you talking about those viewing windows that you can take out? Either way i don't think i leave them open...cause i didn't open anything lol.

It's the red plastic plugs near the middle of the lid. They come out and are for allowing air into the incubator. Hope that helps. :)

I have one plugged and the other has the digital thermometer probe run through it.
I used to do that, but the probe kept getting stuck under the egg containers when I took the cover off to check them, and it would get stuck outside the hovabator causing me to freak out next time I saw it (happened twice before I just chucked the whole damn thermometer in with the eggs).

lol Brian, you had a crazy thermometer.

I left the plastic suction cup on mine and it was hard as heck to get threw the hole and won't come out without a heck of a time to get it back out, I have the cord taped on the lid of the bator so the probe dangles down inside and I can check the temp without opening the incubator.
