    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I tried and I get this message

imabirdmom, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I have the same issue, just purchased some animals from 2 different users I would like to leave positive feedback...
 
The reason you can't leave a Trader Rating is because only Contributor members can leave a rating, although someone that is not a Contributor can receive one from someone who is.

If you wish to thank and help out a seller (or even a buyer) without having to be a Contributor, posting a Good Guy thread on the BOI forum is easy and everyone can do it. Though giving someone a rating is very nice, in a lot of cases posting on the BOI will actually help them more because that's what more people search. Be sure to include their actual name, business name and any user names you know of in the BOI post, preferably in the title, so others thinking of buying from them can find it easily.

Here is a thread that details a lot of the reasons why Trader Ratings are restricted, the subject tends to come up every year or so.
