    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

How long can a female ball python store sperm? I'm getting in a female that has not ovulated yet (although is off feed) who has locked with three males, the last one about two weeks ago (lesser, pastel, bee). Any chance I'll be able to participate in this year's breeding season?

Also is there any chance of multiple daddies in the clutch? I have read that it 'can' happen...but almost never does.
 
I have heard they can store it for over a year, I know last year I had three clutches that had three dads for each clutch. So they definately do store the sperm, I would say at least though a breeding season.
 
Its very possible for there to be more than one daddy and its more common than you think. As for how long a female can retain sperm, there's been instances where a female has retained up to a year, I believe. Rumor even has it up to two years if memory serves me correctly. So its very possible you may have a chance at getting some eggs!
 
Wow! Three clutches with three daddies! that's awesome. So...anything I can do to encourage ovulation? Other than set up her tank like a ball python likes it and leave her alone?
 
And incase anyone is wondering the female is the Golden Dinker that Heart and Soul had up in the classifieds. She's much lighter in color than a normal, perhaps I'll be lucky and end up with a genetic dinker.

I would have to think that genetic dinkers are really, really, really rare though.
