    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK, yes, I got a very late start this season. Had to move and everything in the incu got cooked en route in my car. Still got some coming, but it's been so long since last season I'm not sure I've got the timing right. I'm thinking roughly 60 days? yes?

It depends on the temperature your keeping your eggs at. At 83 - 86, the eggs should hatch within 53 - 60 days.

I did 83 this year and had most pop out at around 56 days. Some were as early as 46. So 60 for 82 degrees sounds about right.

Yep. 54-57 was about right. Got a gorgeous stripe laid 7/17 hatched after 54 days, with her clutchmate hatching at 57.

this may be a little late, but if you are incubating for females, you could do the first 20 days at 81-82, and then bump it to 88-90 for the rest of the time. This should give you geckos with less dark pigment in them, and in theory, should incubate a little quicker. since the sex is determined in the first 12 days, they would still be mostly if not all females. just a though.

check out this, its a good read:

You should be careful with that method.... many have produced 'hot' females that are overly agressive, and in some cases infertile. They need to be housed seperately from others. Also, remember colors can fade when they're not genetic, and any offspring you do get them to produce will not look as bright (unless you also screw with temperatures). Finally, large temperature swings tend to cause a higher percentage of genetic defect (missing limbs, no eyelids, etc). Most breeders avoid the risk and simply breed genetics.
