    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

How long have some transactions taken to complete?

I'm just curious how long some transactions have taken for other people to complete.
About 3 months ago I entered into a deal with Craig Hulsey to buy a 1.1 pair of El Rosario rosy boas.
Well, the babies finally came about a month ago and there were only 4. So far they are not eating but have had their first shed. He is waiting until they start eating before he sexes them and ships them (I'm glad he is waiting until they are ready instead of just sending them out). I hope there's at least 1.1 out of the 4 for me.
Anyway, I have never been so anxious and having to wait because these little buggers aren't cooperating. I was  curious how long others have had to wait before they finally got their snakes. The anticipation is killing me. I can't wait until I can at least see a pic of the babies. Anyone else go thru this before. Man, 3 months feels like 3 years when your waiting for something.
 
I have both bought and sold animals on the fly in a second. I have also bought and sold animals that had not yet been produced and took 1-2 seasons to complete the deals. Evan Stahl
 
I have paid for, waited for, and bought Eastern Indigos from a breeder MANY,MANY years ago, I think I waited 6  onths from the time of hatching for those snakes to be ready to be sold as MOUSE EATERS(Versus fish eaters) Sounds like you have a responsible seller on your hands , who is takeing the steps to protect his own reputation as well as your interests by not selling therm prematurely.

One of the problems with this hobby is that people want instant gratification, I speak from my own experience. They want to have the snakes"Here and now" as quickly as possible, only to tire of them and the "Newness" to wear off in 4-5 months OR LESS, then they just go out and buy more snakes. Its the same kind of disease that aflicts women with shoes, or guys with tools. Please dont get caught up in it, as there is NEVER the "Perfect" snake that will end it. I have done this, it costs money, and it takes energy.

Be patient, read as much as you can about them, ask breeders about them, and set up their habitat perfectly, and get frozen rodents or insure that youll have a steady supplu of non frozens easily available. Take care,

Looks like 3 months isn't too long.

I'm just glad he is waiting until they are ready before he ships. So far everything has been going smoothly.

I just can't wait until they arrive.
