    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

how long should my clutch of eggs take to hatch? i have had them in the incu at 85 for 40 days. they are huge and i want them to hatch. how much longer do i have to wait?!
 
You'll do good to get them to hatch in 60 days. 85 is going to produce several males. I hatch mine on a shelf in a cool room around 78 to 80 degrees. It takes atleast 3 to 6 month's depending on incubation temps. Be leary of higher temps during incubation. Sometimes you can get adverse results. I incubate my eggs at 82 degrees and it takes right at 54 days for them to hatch. I would think at 85 they would hatch in the same or shorter length of time. Usually if it takes longer than 54 days they are no good and start to mold and go bad.
 
85 degrees should hatch around 46-50 days from my experience.
 
They hatched!! i got my first 2 hatchlings and they are beautiful. I will post pics on a new thread later. They both weigh 3.6 grams. Im so excited.
