    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

well still no eggs yet from the momma. i should be getting close to seeing some. i think this happened around the 16th of april and she definitely has eggs in the belly. she's not eating, no matter what i offer, and hanging in the lay box. when should i become concerned about the possibility of her being eggbound. she is very active when handled and has not lost weight. i'm just being paranoid. :rolleyes:

so i did a little more research while at work last night and found that 2-5 weeks is the time period for eggs to be layed from the day of the breeding. if nothing happens be the 20th, i'm going to be having an ultrasound done(it's good to access to these things ;) ). if she is in fact eggbound then i already have a vet that will do the surgery if it's needed. i just need to call her and she'll come to my job and do it. she has even offered to call a vet friend of hers that works in a hospital in pa that works with reptiles to see if surgery is needed. if it is, they may do it for free as a training program for interns. hopefully i won't need any of these options but i'm glad i have them if i need them. hopefully she needs a little more time since it isn't a full month yet. let's keep some fingers crossed here
