    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

How many crickets are you feeding?

Just curious...

I have read that you should let your beardies eat as many crickets as they would like in about 10 minutes...My guy, Thor, eats a LOT! Wondering what is 'normal' what your beardies can eat in that time frame...My girl, eats very few and seems to be more of the 'salad type' ;):D
 
Id say my male can eat 15-25 large crickets no problem but Id rather feed him like 5 crickets 2 roachs & some greens just so the crickets will last acouple days...
 
Okay...I was wondering, cuz Thor can easily eat 20 crickets in way less than 10 minutes. Maybe if I fed him less of those he would eat more of his greens! Getting close to time to order more crickets. Do you have a favorite supplier Devan?
 
LLLReptile.com is where I always ordered my crickets from. Good service and overnight shipping is included in the price. I was getting ready to try out Ghann's because of all the great things I kept hearing about them, but I've recently switched to roaches and my dragons no longer want ANYTHING to do with crickets.

Roaches may cost more, but you can easily breed your own, and they don't stink!
 
I buy from LLL reptile but a local reptile store more often cuz the owner has realy good prices $1 to 30-40 crickets. & I have a group of 400 Dubia roachs so i rarely buy crickets except lately ive had no small/medium roachs for my smaller dragons so ive been resorting to crickets...
