In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Aside from differences in pattern (Labyrinth, etc.), how many different albino burmese (P. molurus) colors are there in the market? I can only think of the yellow and the green. Is anyone aware of any other variant?

Thanks.

Dan,
I am not sure I understand your question - or at least not your inclusion of greens as an albino color variant vs pattern mutation.
I haven't been involved with burms for years but, as far I can recall, there are the normal albinos and T+ albinos. I did see something about 'lavender albinos", but I think they were T+'s.

Harald,

It was poorly worded as the green is not an albino. You mentioned the lavender though, who produced those? Were they ever available to the general public? Same with the T+ why don't we see them offered around? As far as I know the only one that's available regulalry is the simple albino (yellow and white). Who is recognized as "the burmese" morph breeder out there (if there is such a company)?

Regards,

Dan

Chris McQuade, of Gulf Coast Reptiles, had T+ burms at one point, & he was selling baby hets a couple of years ago. I'm not sure if he still has them - but will email him this morning.

Confirmed.
Gulf Coast Reptiles still has their T+ burms, and they are expecting to offer both T+ and hets in '07.

Hello eveyone, I'm new to this forum and was looking at this thread. Jim Mason is what I would consider the "burm" guy. You can check out his website it's bebos-burms.com. As far as I know there are albinos, albino greens, albino labs, albino granites, and Jim has the albino/green/granite, I think that it's the only one in this country but not sure.

I was thumbing through an old Reptiles that had the Bob Clark article in it. I saw a pic of a "blonde" burm and was wondering if this was ever reproduced and if was a albino morph, like the carmel albino balls.

And whatever happened to the leucistic burm? I remember seeing pictures of it years ago, but never heard anything.

Kris

Kris,

Which issue was that?

Thanks,

Dan

I think I heard that the leucistic burm ended up being sterile...the blonde, I don't remember.

I'm planning to purchase a green/granite this spring, they are a bit pricey as you can imagine, but there is something about them. :censored: I gotta have one.

I thought I had heard that about the leucistic, too. I only saw a photo of it once, I think it was at Bob Clark's booth back when the "Daytona" expo was in Orlando. I remember it was a huge picture of a blinding white snake with bottomless black eyes.
