    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

HI THERE!!! MY name is Clint. Currently right now i have a 6 ft argentina female boa and a 4-5 ft male red tail columbian. I have had these guys for about a year now. They have bred this year but not successfully. But boy were they beautiful babies though. But my ? is that i am going up to the raliegh reptile show on sunday. Im thinking about taking some pics with me of them and either selling them or trading them. I know that red tails are common especially males but what is a good price i can get for him? And my 6 ft argentina female she hasnt been eating. AND SHES SOO INTERESTED IN THE RAT BUT DOESNT WANT IT! Shes so active but doesnt seem interested in the Rat. I just wanna sell these guys to a good boa expert who breeds them and takes really good care for them. How much can i get for my 6ft argentina female. I know that they are hard to come by sometimes. How much can i get for her and the male?? Plz Help me :)

Hi Clint, I'm not really a snake person to know right off hand what they would be worth at todays market value, but I would suggest visiting the classified sections of this site to see whats already listed as similar to what you have to get a better idea of the actual value. You might even consider listing them for sale in the classifieds for a best offer. Its also nice to see that your honest to include the info that the female hasn't been eating. Some would not say anything in just hoping to dump the potential problem off on to another. Good luck in finding a buyer.

I understand you are trying to get help but please stop posting the same question all over the forums.

send me some pics and i can tell you cause i would have to see if she is a pure argentine or if she is crossed

You'll have to share your secret with me. :D Not trying to insinuate that it's not BC occidentalis, just that looks can be deceiving at times.

When crossing 2 ssp of Boa, you have just as likely a chance that the young will look like Mom, or like Dad, or a mixture of both. Just depends on how the genes pair up. You're fooling yourself if you think you can tell purity by looking at pictures.

As for the price, I haven't looked into buying for a little while, but I did turn down a female BCo not long ago for $300, that was comparable size to what you stated. If that helps you any.

The male, in a sellers market which shows generally are, might be $100 - $150 if the animal was nice enough. The Argie might be in the $200-$250 range at best. There simply is not enough people interested in Argie's to bring the demand up. Either way, good luck.
