Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just saw a rosy boa at my local pet store. It was listed as baja phase but they mostly name stuff wrong anyway. I haven't been able to find a picture of a baja phase anywhere. I thought it was a really nice looking snake they are asking 110.00 for it. It was a very pinkish color it was young also so I don't really know what kind it is. But I was wondering if I got a pair and bred them are they are to sell?
 
I haven't tried selling yet, but if I get babies next year, I've already got homes lined up. I don't think selling is much of a problem. A lot of people buying rosies, however, like to keep localities pure. They only breed / buy babies from known localities and breed them to more of the same. Because you eliminate all the locality aficionados from your potential buyers, it can be a bit harder to sell babies of unknown locale. You can get babies from most locales for around $100 shipped or less so you might want to consider holding off until people have litters ready in late summer or early fall. Alternatively, if your petshop got the rosy directly from a breeder, you might be able to get the breeder's contact info so you can get confirmation of the snake's origins from breeder.
