    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

How to Get Feedback

Anyone have ideas about how to get feedback from buyers. I gave feedback to a few over the season, but they weren't paying members and so couldn't give me any back. How do you attract paying members?
 
It takes time. Trader ratings are good but BOI feedback is better.

Remember to respond to any "good guy" BOI posts as well! As a buyer, I personally do check trader ratings (only paying/subscribing members can leave) but anyone can leave good feedback on the BOI.

Thanks for your response. I've heard of BOI, but I don't really know what it is or where it is. Could you please explain it?
 
Another suggestion-when you buy something from someone leave feedback for them in the BOI. When I buy something from someone who seems newer to selling, I still search the BOI, and even if all I see is a bunch of good guy posts they left for other sellers it is better than finding nothing.
