Hi all...
Just looking to connect with local herp folks. (we're recently out of the small mammal business)...
about us...
My DH minored in zoology in college (a million years ago)... since then he's traveled the globe photographing animals (both land & underwater), had a small reptile importation business some years ago (which kinda expanded into small mammals like fenic foxes, flying squirrels, sugar gliders, etc.) ... even had an ostrich farm at one point... More recently, we've done some hobby breeding of the African Pygmy Hedgehogs and Brazilian Short Tailed Opossums for the local pet stores... but now we're just down to a few pets that can handle being left alone while we travel... that is, we're down to just the reptiles.
It's always good to know folks in the area who do what we do....
I ran across this site while trying to find a guy over in Lewisville TX who used to breed Australian Frilled Lizards... Chlamydosaurus kingii... sometimes called Frilled Dragons in the industry. He may not be breeding any longer, but I'd still like to talk to the guy, if anyone know where he might be... I'll cross post this request over in the herp forum...
Y'all have a nice day!
Amy.
