    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

On second thought, I don't want to be responsible for giving someone the tools to allow them to do it, I'm not going to post any links on the subject. I will say this though. I have in the past received spam emails that the sender was My email address. Also, before posting that statement I saw there is many, tutorials on Google, Wiki, Youtube that show how to do it using various methods eg. Telnet, router, ipconfig etc.

I can send you an email from your email address, that's not difficult. That's not what I was talking about, you mentioned IP address, there are no methods of obtaining and using an individuals IP address. Please I hope you don't get your sources from Wiki, and Youtube. Telnet lol, its the protocol used on routers lmao. If you think you'll be able to use someone elses IP with your router, your completely ignorant. YOU CANNOT SELECT WHICH IP YOU WANT, WHEN USING IPCONFIG IT SIMPLY ATTEMPTS TO RELEASE AND RENEW YOUR IP, so it out with the old, in the with new. You can't pick and choose, your ip comes to you at random from your ISP.

Tells you to download the program to steal steam accounts, that program is a trojan.

Which is why you should never look to youtube for help, its all people trying to steal your things with their virus's.

The computer mumbo-jumbo (I can't even switch e-mails) is just confuseing to us computer tards, but I don't think there is any doubt in anyones mind that if those things can be played with to show what you want them to show...Ed and/or Nichole already have it mastered.
 
Nicole is defrauding people by selling mispresented animals; there is no doubt; it has been proven.

However, the BOI is supposed to be FAIR. This means regardless of how anyone may think Nicole is lying, about this situation (she needs to make a separate post so it can be addressed there) she still deserves a FAIR hearing.

That means, we are to be impartial and base our posts on the facts presented and not form assumptions simply based on her past and future. :)

The b.o.i. is suppose to be a fair place agreed. but does nicole really deserve a fair anything??? I think we ALL had enough of nicole's dirty business, her photo shopped animals, and her kicking and screaming when the deal doesnt go exactly how she wants it too. She has proven this time and time again! How many chances do some people really deserve? Your friend owes you money are you gonna give them more money? People like nicole only want to take. An when she doesnt get what she wants she finds another way to take what she wants. IMO, after all of her stunts she doesnt deserve a :censored: thing.

Tom, everyone deserves a fair shake. If Nicole was ripped off, she owes it to the members of Fauna to post her experience, that what the BOI is for. If we werent fair and just, the BOI would not be helpful at all. We would also owe it to her to NOT judge her selling practices on her purchases.

If she was ripped off, I would want to know so I dont deal with them. Make sense?

Well if it was reptile depot,they are already on here as bad guys..She said she had a lovely thread about them,but she didnt want to get bashed or have the thread get off topic...Carrying on with the whole "honor amongst thieves" ,theme she has going on I wonder if maybe she wanted to do a good guy thread on them?...Both will get bashed and off topic very quickly..It would help if she would come on her and pull her head out of her rectum,and answer question that have been asked to her..Like why she needs to shop photos and have crappy customer service.Or why cant she guaruntee the color of her dragons...I fully understand why people want to bash her...She feels like she is above explaining her actions and thinks she dosnt have to answer to anyone...

I'd like to hear why she needs to misrepresent her animals.? Why she tries to rip off honest folks by photoshopping her animals? If she would put as much effort into making quality animals as puts into photoshopping average animals then maybe she wouldn't have to be dishonest with people and she wouldn't have bad guy threads. Guess she likes to see her name in red. :shrug01:

To believe anything nicole says she would need proof word for word. Even then i wouldn't really care. Would she? How did the stuff with her and Sheena end? 75 dollar refund, on 245 for a photo shopped animal?and good thing she got the 75 bucks when she did. Or she probly wouldnt have gotten nothing.

Does anyone remember a thread about someone else who photoshopped pics? It was a while back on the BOI and there was posted within the thread a program to tell if the pic was altered...firefly or something? Just a thought, but it could end a lot of arguments very quickly and it could show proof positive that a pic was altered and what the pic looked like both before and after it was altered.

I remember that thread, Dale ... the program was a Firefox add-on. The EXIF data relevant to this thread and the seller's dragons has already been pulled and posted here (in this thread)
 
Sorry, I didn't realise that it was previously posted. Wish I were more computer savy so I could figure out how to check stuff like that.

1. Double standards: A lot of you have whined about copied/pasted e-mail text as not proof enough, and yet, in almost every other BOI thread, that exact thing is considered proof without a question. If we're going be fair at all, we need to either require everyone to only post screenshots of e-mails and take them at face value. I've seen many real pictures people claim are Photoshopped and many Photoshopped pictures people think are real. As far as I know (please correct me if I'm wrong), there is almost no way of proving one or the other.

2. Again, correct me if I'm wrong (I might've forgotten/missed something), but there is still no proof whatsoever that Nichole did the Photoshopping. The EXIF data says Photoshop was used; it doesn't say who did it. There is no way to prove who did it. For all we know, the buyer could've taken pictures of her own dragon and desaturated them. Please note, I'm not blaming anyone here. I'm just saying that yes, the photo was saved or edited in Photoshop; that's all the EXIF data says.

3. When I post photos online, I save them to my computer, open them up in GIMP, resize them for ease of web-viewing, and save them to another file. The EXIF data would show that I used GIMP. Does that mean I used GIMP to do something with the photo? Yes. Does that mean I messed with the color? No. Does that mean I desaturated it? No. Does that mean I used 50 billion filters to make it look like a glowy purple beardie unicorn with wings...and then changed it back? No.

Stick with what we know, people. Taking data and making bad assumptions and/or using bad logic does nothing to help anyone...neither here on the BOI nor in real life.

NOTE: Since I know someone will start bashing me for using logic, I am a distant observer of this thread. I have nothing riding on either person being right or wrong. I just get tired of seeing the same logical fallacies over and over and over again everywhere I go.

Your points were good. There's only one thing I wanted to address. The photo in question about photoshopping was confirmed by the seller to be the photo that she sent. So the seller agreed that the color, saturation, etc was all correct to the one sent. So the colors in the picture are all how they were represented by the seller. We could argue that the photo was saved in photoshop by the buyer and that's why it showed up, but the buyer obviously didn't change saturation because the seller recognized the photo as unaltered from what she sent.

The problem is that the "shadow" from the dragon is blue. I have never seen a blue shadow like that. If the saturation is turned down to where it would normally be gray/black, the dragon looks similar to how it does now. So someone had to have altered the saturation to get the blue glow. If the seller did not do it, then she sent out a picture that someone else altered or else she would have said "that's not the picture I used, the dragon wasn't that bright".
