I have a VERY rare opportunity to own one of the most prehistoric tortoises in the world. This is an opportunity to own one of the larger Burmese Black females in the USA.
The female is a Pure Black Mountain Tortoise. She measures 24" ( bottom of shell ) and is in excellent health. Her age is unknown , but with this size, she is ready to breed. I don't have much history on her other than she was imported back about 20 years ago. I acquired her from a breeder in California this year.
The male is a 50/50 Brown/Black Mountain Tortoise. He is about 14" in size.
Its hard to put a value to the pair as females this size are not offered much. Based on past sales of some of the smaller females for sale, I am looking at $5000 / obo. I might consider trades for Aldabra or Radiated Tortoises /Cash
They are currently on a diet of cactus, mazuri and orchard grass along with some vegetables ( once a week). If you have any questions, please contact me.
I also have some 14" + Burmese Brown Males as well. Pictures on request. They are perfect. $1000.00

They are located in Hollister, California. It may be possible to meet within the state. If you want them shipped, maybe a friend can ship them for you, but I will not.
