So I'm considering selling or trading my adult male P. adspersus. He is about 8" long and very girthy. He is a fairly young animal and I believe he may still be growing. However, he is definitely ready to breed. He is not a personable frog and prefers to be undisturbed unless it is feeding time. He would make a great display animal, because he rarely buries himself and is often at the front of his enclosure. He will tong-feed on any living animal, and any pre-killed prey if it is waved in front of him. His diet consists of live and f/t mice, pinkie to adult, superworms, hornworms, red worms, roaches. It is tempting to feed them a rodent-heavy diet, but invertebrate prey is necessary to avoid obesity and liver disease. I will answer any question about him as an individual, or about the species in general. P. Adspersus is the second largest frog in the world and the largest regularly available in the pet trade. Males are much larger than females.
Asking $300. I will not ship him. Period. I will drive to meet. I will provide a $50 discount if you pick him up from my home. Cash or paypal.
I am also open to trades for certain pairs of snakes, pairs of locality leachie or chewie, racks, incubators and frozen rodents. Can throw in cash or vice versa if trade is unequal. I am also selling some albino harquahala rosy boas I produced, they can be part of the trade. Check out my other trade ad for a fuller list of what I want.
