In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I caught her in the act! Her first shed with me, only took her about 35 minutes, came off all in one piece. I took over 200 pictures of the process, but heres the 51 pic condensed version.
She looks fantastic! All her colors are so bright, her new skin feels so smooth and perfect!
Her shed measured 8'4", I'm aware that the shed'ed skin is stretched, but I thinking she's somewhere between 7' and 7.5'. For those of you that don't know her, she's a ~5 year old Coastal Carpet.

*Bonus video at the bottom of her taking her post shed rat*

Do I here some rubbing going on?

Those progression shots are awesome. Beautiful snake and a very nice cage. I liked the video too, but you have more guts than me using those tiny tongs to feed her. I still use tongs that are at least a foot or two long to feed my big girl.

gorgeous carpet!

thats pretty cool :)
Thanks!

Thank you! She usually has pretty good aim, never even had a close call with her. She's just a big ole' teddy bear, never shown an ounce of aggression towards anyone. I've got a pretty good "bite" progression of her too:

I'm big and bad!

Beautiful snake. How do you have pothos in the cage. Isn't hung from the roof of the cage or held in place in some other manner?

Thank you!
I have a steel band wrapped around the pot, and screwed into the wall, seems to be pretty snake proof so far, and she loves sitting on top of the plant.

Do you ever taking it out so it could recover? I tried keeping several different plants with my carpet but none were resilient enough to recover being sat on for hrs on end. I haven't tried pothos yet so I was curious if you switch the plants out.
