    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The prince William County Animal Shelter (in northern Virginia) has 3 reptiles for adoption, $20 each (cash or check only). And you will need to be able to come in person to adopt. Reptiles at the shelter tend to find new homes very slowly so I'm trying to help the little guys out here.

First is the hypo butter corn snake (at least that's what I think her morph is).

Her adoption includes her 40 gallon terrarium and everything in it: 2 hides, a root climb, and a plastic bowl for water, she also has a under tank heater, but I suspect its not working.

Her previous owner was deployed so he had to give her up and I dont know how certain he was that this snake is female. She's very active, but is missing the end of her tail. The previous owner said she was about 3-4 years old, and she's about 3 feet long.

Next up is the Sudan Plated Lizard

She comes with her 55 gallon aquarium and everything in it (a hide, food bowl, and water bowl, but NOT the screen lid). The previous owner said he could no longer care for her and thinks she is over 5 years old.

She's in the middle of shedding, so excuse her flakes :)

And last is the ball python.

I'm terrible at identifying morphs, so I won't try. This snake was left at the front door over night so the shelter doesnt know about its history or gender. It apears to have an old/healed bite wound on her back about 4 inches from the end of her nose, and is a about 2 feet long.
It's adoption includes it's 10 gallon aquarium, lid, heat light, under tank heater, log hide, and water bowl.

Right now it looks like its about to go into shed.
