This little guy showed up easter Sunday, big surprise because his mother isn't due until sometime next week.
She pushed out some urates and what looked like the plug. Well I guess he was down pretty low and came out by accident.lol He had a huge yolk sack (because he was so early) his mother crawled over and tore off. When I picked him up he was limp, I thought he was dead. He jerked and picked his head up so I put him in a nice warm and wet tray in my hatchling rack. I have checked on him before and after I come home from work expecting him to be dead, he's so skinny and tiny. Today I was cleaning cages I saw him crawling around so I threw in a two day old pinky. I figured he might be hungry because he didn't get a chance to absorb the yolk sack. I checked about 45 min later and he had it wrapped up! He ate the pinky, you can see the lump in the pics, so I guess he might just make it.
If he does make it he's going to stay here and will have to be named lucky. Take it easy.
