In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This little guy showed up easter Sunday, big surprise because his mother isn't due until sometime next week.:shrug01: She pushed out some urates and what looked like the plug. Well I guess he was down pretty low and came out by accident.lol He had a huge yolk sack (because he was so early) his mother crawled over and tore off. When I picked him up he was limp, I thought he was dead. He jerked and picked his head up so I put him in a nice warm and wet tray in my hatchling rack. I have checked on him before and after I come home from work expecting him to be dead, he's so skinny and tiny. Today I was cleaning cages I saw him crawling around so I threw in a two day old pinky. I figured he might be hungry because he didn't get a chance to absorb the yolk sack. I checked about 45 min later and he had it wrapped up! He ate the pinky, you can see the lump in the pics, so I guess he might just make it.:D If he does make it he's going to stay here and will have to be named lucky. Take it easy.

ahh what a little cutie! I hope he continues to be strong and pull through for you!

Dennis, congrats on saving the little guy!! He's going to be a real looker, too!! :)

You should name him early bird haha. Lucky works. Great looking baby. Hope he stays on track !!!!! Good luck on the rest of the litter.

Thanks everyone! I think he is going to be ok. I am still waiting for his brothers and sisters to be born.lol Tuesday is 105 so she could make me wait if she wants too.lol I hope to post pics of the litter SOON. Take care.
Dennis

Well, I guess if she's going to pop one out early, that would be the one. Gives you a nice idea of what might be waiting inside. LOL

I think it'll pull through. If he's wandering, and eating, I think he'll do just fine.

Early congrats!

Well, maybe I can't count. As I was typing the last post I think she was having her litter. Jeff---- The boas gods must be mad at me about something.lol She had her last litter almost 2 years ago exactly, only 2 slugs and 23 live in that litter. Tonight she gave me 27 slugs, 4 hypo jungles, 2 normal jungles and 4 normals. The only other time I had allot of slugs was from the same male last year. A different female gave me around 15 slugs. Maybe its the male?????? Well the jungles are nice, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Here are some pics. Thanks for looking.

Sorry to hear about so many slugs, but you got some nice animals from her, too. I see a few that would look good in my snake room.

What male was used in this litter? I bet your right about the male being the problem. I do see a couple I like. Small litter, but the babies are great!

gorgeous babies! sorry to hear about the heavy load of sweet potatoes but I think those killer babies would more than make up for it! ;) (I'd also guess it's the male since it's happened before with him, was he the jungle?)

My favorite is the same one that Rick posted, especially stands out to me in the group shot (1st pic), those strong outlines around the saddles, very nice

Thanks again. :) I lied to everyone, lol the dad is a salmon jungle not a "hypo". I am so used to labeling them at the shows as salmon " (hypos) " The mother is a normal that was supposed to be 100% het sharp. The guy I got her from bred both of her sisters, supposed 100% het sharps, to a sharp albino male and got no albinos in either litter. Dad is in shed right now, and mom is still trying to eat me when I go near the cage. I have a pic of her when she was gravid. I like all of them. I wanted a salmon jungle fem to keep but all of the salmons are males. The two normal jungles are females.
Thanks again for the comps.
Dennis
