• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

Hey guys,

I am not generally one of those people who looks for Easter Eggs in snakes they own, and believe they generally are what people say they are.

I picked this guy up on the fly last week. Based on the info I have in his parents he could be either. I'm happy either way and am pretty sure I won't really know until we breed him out and see what we get....but what do you guys think? Included are eye pics, which are even lighter in person. He is just STUNNING.

I'm sorry these are links to my FB and not actual pics. I am no good at the internet : /

Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I believe the hypo pastave's head is much more blushed out than the hypo mojave. But your boy is stunning!

Good to know. I don't know how many pics I've looked at, and they all look different. It sparked a rather intense conversation between me and my BF. We decided on hypo mojo, but then I was reading about the eyes being the best way to tell, and got all confused again : /

Either way, the pastel would have been a bonus, but really it's the ghost combos and future BELs he's gonna make that have me interested.

Thanks.

Mojave eyes are generally lighter than the norm...more a grayish color if anything, but picks up color in different lighting. Faded head, bright yellow, and crazy shades of purple to pink are dead giveaways to a pastave hypo.

That is a very nice hypo mojave. Looks familiar did you by any chance get it from some in southern mass(Fall River)?

hypo mojave have a darker colored head than pastave ghosts here is an example..

ActionReptiles,

I sure did! That's your boy, and he's awesome and doing well. I was only asking the question not because I didn't trust you guys to know what you're selling, but because the guy I bought him from (you know who) was so nice and gave me such a great deal if a mistake had been made in pricing I wanted to let him know (I know, I know, people don't do that stuff, but I'm a big believer in candor and not burning bridges, especially local ones, and I'm the one who can't seem to tell them apart, but I think it's just because Jasper is such a fantastic example of a hypo mojo--a lot of ones I've seen are much darker and less "ghosty").

BTW, that little crazy hatchling male he showed me was awesome. Love to hear what happens with him (and if he comes up for sale....)

At the beginning of the year we will be looking to make some additions. I'd love to know what you guys have at that point.

Glad to here he went to a good home. It was funny I seen the pics you put up and he look familiar than seen where you were from. Yeah my buddy had bought a bunch of stuff from me including that boy and unfortunatly he recently came into some life issues and had to sell all his snakes. I bought a couple back including the crazy fire fly that im guessing is the one your reffering to.

I am glad you like him, and he is a awesome hypo mojave. If it wasn't for me having the hypo pastave I posted I would of kept him. My mojaves throw really blushed babies and when combined with orange ghost really tend to stand out. Feel free to keep in touch either through here or if your on face book Im under Action Reptiles... :D
