    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hypo Pastel Dream Question

I just bought a beautiful Hypo Pastel Dream boa that I am going to be pairing with my awesome Jungle this next season. I don't really know what the outcomes will be from this pairing because I don't know how the Pastel Dream gene works. Is it the same as what a Hypo Pastel would be? Any help will be appreciated!

Pastel Dream is a line of pastel that Jeff Ronne originally called his pastels. Sometimes people still call their pastels "pastel dreams", so make sure your female came from Jeff Ronne's stock before calling her that. But yes, they're just a selectively bred boa.

I will take some pictures of her today and post them. She looks like a Hypo Pastel Dream to me. I bought the snake from Anthony Phommasith, he said he bought the Hypo Pastel Dream from Jeff Ronne in 2007.
 
If it's from Tony, I'm sure you won't have an issue. He's a stand up guy.

I think that pairing a true pastel with a colorful jungle would make some gorgeous jungles! Can't wait to see what you get, Allison!!
 
Me neither Matt! The male Jungle produced some killer babies for me last year. He doesn't have aberrant patterns but he has that awesome tan Jungle coloration that I just love along with a red stripe down his tail.

I just got a couple jungles that were suppose to come from a pastel dream line to a jungle.
They are killer looking and full of red.
Cant wait to see the outcome of your breeding Allison.

Here are some pictures of the Jungle (he is going in to shed). I absolutely love this guy! I also added a picture of one of his offspring from last year. I will add pictures of the Hypo Pastel Dream tomorrow...I just got done with cleaning cages and I am exhausted! lol

I was going to take pictures of the Hypo Pastel Dream today but she is in deep shed right now lol. As soon as she sheds I will post some pictures. I wish it was next season already!

I am a fan of the Pastel Dream. I bought a couple jungles( Mike Masters)that were bred with a pastel dream,but without papers.The color is crazy.I would think the Pastel Dream showed up in them.
I will Post pics in a few days as they are also in deep blue.
 
Will do Rich! I will probably be keeping 1 or 2 but I will definitely be selling most of them lol. Most, if not all, of my projects for next year are Jungle related. I still need to find a Hypo Jungle Het Albino though. I'm always looking for something lol.
 
I need that too Allison. But at the moment my wifes is a bit at ends with the amount of boa's i bought. Not sure its the boa's or the $$. lol She hates any snakes and loves $$.
I bough many this year. Way more then planned.
