Meet Mr. Lefty. A gorgeous hypo redfoot tortoise that was incubated for male. The low temps could have caused him to have a permanent head tilt to the left. This doesn’t stop him from eating everything in sight from fruit, greens, mazuri, and fungi (mushrooms). I can’t tell you if this would 100% be passed down in genetics to its offspring, but my animal biology degree tells me probably not. I think this was just a result of low incubation temperatures trying to yield a male.
