    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hypo ripoff

Petco aside, I still have a bit of a problem with the rattlesnake deal.

Mis-sexed snakes can be excused (assuming the seller does something to rectify the mistake), but I'm finding the whole issue of the way the rattlesnakes were shipped a little bit harder to explain away.  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>
 
The only person who has a right to be upset about this post is Steve Ori from A FORGOTTEN REALM!!!! Unless i am missing something;;;he was blatantly lied to about who this snake came from...He in turn,,,came on here to post trying to help other people from getting burned based on what he was told((LIED TO))..He deserves a MAJOR APOLIGY!!!!!

i think that the person with the rattlesnakes: he owuld probably but not for sure be able to trade out for them.

im sorry for all the misconduct or whatever you call it because of this whole thing. this needs to stop because DAN HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! i already talked to steve about it and the snake got back ok. thanks steve. steve helped me through this whole thing in a calm manner. i thank him for that. thanks steve. and i am sorry for the stuff this brought on everyone. it was my mistake. and what about the lying thing? dan didnt lie but my friend did and i am dealing with him myself.

Kenny,,,i commend you for apoligizing to Steve Ori,,,however,,it is not your obligation to do that...It is your ""friends""...This man went out of his way to help someone out who he ""thought"" was ripped off,,,and in all actually,,,it was all a big damn lie...HE,,,NOT YOU,,,OWES STEVE A MAJOR APOLIGY!!!! To Steve Ori,,,although i have never dealt with you,,,you sound like someone that i will do business with in the future!!! It is people like you that keep my faith strong in this business..You live in Carolina((im in Va.by the way))and this other guy lives where??,,in Oregen???,,and you went thru the trouble of trying to take care of this situation for someone that lives thousands of miles away...Great guy!!!! This is just my opinion,,,take it for what you will...Kenny,,nce again,,Kudos for apoligizing to Steve,,tell your friend he needs to do the same!!!!

I'm sorry I started this whole mess in the first place. Kenny told me he: "I talked to Dan and he said if its not a hypo it's het for hypo and still worth the $350.00 (the amount Kenny said he and his friend paid for the animal).Then after I made the post Kenny wrote me back and told me he hadn't talked to Dan, that it was his friend who had said it was a hypo. I tried to explain co-dominant genetics to Kenny but even some experienced breeders find the concept alittle confusing. I broke one of my own rules in posting the original message in the first place. I don't pass on hear say information especially when it affects another person in a negative way. I've gotten the impression that Kenny was rather young and after raiseing six children myself and a brand new grandson I'm kind of protective of young people I guess. Hind site, I guess I should have stayed out of it. Oh well live and learn and Dan if your out there I apoligize to you for posting something negative about you that I couldn't back up. But in my own defence I tried to get your email from Kenny and told him to have you write me to discuss this first. I got no where either way and just wanted to make sure that this sort of thing doesn't happen to someone else. Most of the whole world thinks we're all nuts so, we should all hang together and not screw each other. "If we don't hang together we shall certainly hang seperatly" Ben Franklin.

Steve, you did what any caring person would do under these circumstances. You were under the impression that a "kid" got ripped-off, and we all know how important it is for the younger generation to have good experiences in this hobby, to help it continue to grow, so they to, can enjoy "the wonderful world of reptiles." Once again, everybody did the right thing here...I'm getting more and more impressed with the "clean-up" the Webslave and fellow BOI users have done. It's really turning around!! Oh and by the way, your Ben Franklin quote is TOO TRUE!!! I commend you for your attempt to make the public aware of a situation that ALMOST existed, LOL!!! From your words alone, I can tell you're a "good guy" @ the BOI!!
 
thanks steve and everyone else. i hope that this can be a total change in the herp society! and yes i am young. im 16. i love snakes which not a lot of people do like when i take all my reptiles to school and show them off. ( i do shows to help people to know more about them so they might be interested in it as well as much as i do&#33<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> dan also helps me. for a 16 year old i know a lot for that age. i have 20-30 books and 1 was worth 150.00 because it has a 3000 page book. that is what i want to be when i grow up. a herpetolgoist. thats my goal in life, but i got kicked out of school for something that i barely didnt do so i have a hearing today at 9<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>0 am.... wish me luck!

Holy Cow!

After !0 years I search my name and I get this. Man I was young. Yeah that whole thing back when was silly. I only took what I was told, learning I guess. Boas are my life for sure. Dan is still a great friend of mine but he knows reptiles, not genetics and how they work. Im Kenny Bowman by the way. I personally dont remember too much about this and looks like some words were put in my mouth by reptileattaboy16? I was under symetryexotics like i just put here. Also has been a while but I think my buddy jon (dont know where he is at now since it has been 10 years) wanted me to sell his boa dan called a hypo for a game system I think? If this is even right, im going by memory lol.

To make a long story Short, i was taken advantage of a Bigger breeder in Oregon a year or so after this and sold all my boas til about 6 months ago and started back up cuz even tho i didnt own them anymore, they were always on my brain. Genetics are what makes me tick. Hope u all dont see me as that same little kid i used to be... And thank u Steve for defending me with this post back when. I really appreciate u standing up for the younger generations. I do that now myself and help anyone I can since I now have the logic to do good in this industry.

Thanks, already did. Rich helped me a bunch, great guy :) I personally want the 3 deleted attached to my name and reptileattaboy16 cuz I have no clue who that is unless it was my old friend Jon imitating me. Crazy teen crap I guess. Glad that's long gone haha. Have a good night :)
