    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hypo, xantic, SHTCT, het for this or that...

hmmm...

I'd have to agree that they look like lovely pastels to me, too. I saw a Super Snow adult at the NARBC show, and there was absolutely no mistaking it as a snow. Pure white, very distinct black markings.

I dunno. All I know is both their mother and father are Grade A Snows. So, they have the genes to produce A babies. I bought them as Grade B Snows.

ok i got a question here... since snows are selectively bred breeding a c- to a d- might get you some that look more yellow than the parents and some a bit nicer but not A's.... like breeding a spooty orange tang to a orange tang with less spotting you will get some nicer and some not as nice but generally you will not get any super orange tangs without any spotting

Hey Robin,
Let’s say you breed two C’s together. Some of the offspring produced will look like the parents, some worse and some better. There still is a chance at producing an A but it’s not impossible. Now if you take a C and breed it to an A the chances of getting A offspring increases. Even breeding two A’s together can produce C offspring.

To put it simply, one can view snows like tangerines, except that the art of snow making isn't as refined yet. It's a selectively bred trait, that with time we'll eventually start to see more "higher grade" snows.

I really like those snow colors. I have no doubt that they will turn up more and more in the next few years. In fact, what made me first aware of their existence was to see a white & gray hatchling for sale at Petco, among all their blizzards, albinos, etc.

And as an FYI for those having trouble seeing images on the posts: Temporarily disable your Mc Afee security center. Then refresh...
