    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am confused!

Ok, I am SO confused right now about all this vitamin stuff. We went to the Pet Store today, and OH.... I have to tell you all we have a new addition! We bought a Rose hair Tarantula! Ok, I know this is for Geckos. Anyway.... I am not buying Flukers anymore. I bought this stuff called TetraFauna ReptoCal powder with Calcium and Vitamin D3. It says to dust the Crickets with it. I have read about having a Calcium dish in the tank with the Gecko. Do they lick up the powder, and what am I looking for for the dish. Can I put some of this stuff in a milk cap and give it to him. Also whats enough????! I already have, ok well its Flukers, but I have a gutload, a dust, and a calcium fortified thirst quencher. If somebody could explain this to me I would be very grateful!! Thank You! :)

Hi, Kristin...

I'm no sure what you mean by "Calcium Fortified Thirst Quencher," but for Leos you want to keep a dish (a milk cap will do just fine) of calcium in their cages at all times. They will lick it as they need it. I dust with a Multi-Vitamin 3 times a week, and Calcium 2 times a week.

I've used a number of different Vitamin & Calcium products. Currently I am useing T-Rex Leopard Gecko ICB (Insect Cricket Balancer) & Rep-Cal Phosphorus-Free Calcium w/ Vitamin D. I also have T-Rex Bearded Dragon ICB for my dragons & Tetra-Fauna ReptoLife. I like to mix it up.

I attached 2 photos for you, Kristin...

The first is showing how my babies get their water & calcium. I actually use 16oz Propel lids (I drink 4 bottles a day, so I figure to put the lids to use!). The second photo is showing my Bell male going into his calcium dish for a lick (sorry for the poor quality, photo was taken through the tub). Hope this has helped! :)

I believe the "Thirst Quencher" is a calcium-fortified version of the water gel for crickets.

Yup Cat your right! Thats what it is. Thank You TripleMoons. I was confused, my Fiancee didn't help. He thought it would of been a liquid, and I told him I've seen all of the pics about it. So I posted and now I know for sure. Thank You!! :)
