In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hey i am jon i have been looking for a female tame kinkajou young if possible i am not a rich person so if a breeder could work some thing out with me i would be awsome the most i can pay is $ 350

if all you can afford is 350 then you should get a hampster..perhaps you could afford a hampster , cage and food for 350....although i would suggest you save up some more money in case you need a vet, as far as a kink, you would need thousands of dollars just for cage, food and vet...your post just makes you sound like a child..having a kink is only for educated experienced adults...you couldnt even find an appropriate cage for 350..you would need a very large indoor cage and a huge outdoor cage, hundreds of dollars a month in food and thousands in vet costs, not to mention a bottle rasied baby( the only type that should be bought that has even the slightest chance of being handleable) will run you around 2 grand.there are some people selling kinks from cameroon africa in your price range...send them a money order western union and perhaps in a few years , when youre older, have your own home and a knowledge of what owning a kink entails, perhaps then you can find one. in the mean time, leave it up to experienced keepers..then again, this whole post was a waste of time since i can tell im speaking to a child and besides the fact that you will need at least 4 grand to even consider getting one, no breeder is his right mind would sell one to you. you have to prove to most breeders that the animal will go to a good home..someone whos budget is less than i spend on a sunday dinner for my family isnt the best owner,,sorry, like i said, save up a few hundred more and get a hampster.

JAMES, WHY ARE YOU SUCH A JERK?

WHY JAMES IS A JERK:

QUOTE:

"having a kink is only for educated experienced adults.."
WRONG :NoNo: - How does one gain experience with out having one? I was 17 when I got my first kink and he is a very sweet creature.

"you couldnt even find an appropriate cage for 350.."
WRONG :NoNo: -I spent less than $350 and built a very nice large cage.

"hundreds of dollars a month in food and thousands in vet costs"
WRONG :NoNo: -What food do you buy that costs $$hundreds$$ a month? And why are your vet bills so high? Do you not take good care of your animals?

"there are some people selling kinks from cameroon africa in your price range...send them a money order western union"
RUDE :NoNo: -There as NO need for this comment you just sound like a prick!

"in the mean time, leave it up to experienced keepers.."
DUMB :NoNo: - You already said this!

"then again, this whole post was a waste of time since i can tell im speaking to a child"
WOW! So, you're bullying a child? JERK!

"and besides the fact that you will need at least 4 grand to even consider getting one"
WRONG :NoNo: -You got wripped off if you spent $4000 upfront!

"no breeder is his right mind would sell one to you. you have to prove to most breeders that the animal will go to a good home.."
:NoNo: You shouldn't speak for others! I think most breeders are in it for the money! You have them the cash and they hand you the animals! And you have no idea what this "child" is capable of!

"someone whos budget is less than i spend on a sunday dinner for my family isnt the best owner"
This comment was another that confused me? Congratz you can spend alot on a dinner for your family!?!

"like i said, save up a few hundred more and get a hampster."
Again you paid way to much for you pet hampster! "Most" pet stores give you a hampster free with the purchase of a $25 cage.

Whats wrong with you James? You know that this is a kid and you still want to pick on them? If you are the KINKAJOU GOD you seem to think you are...You should be a source of information? They should be able to come to you with questions but no you have to make him feel small and like an idiot! He should be able to make an educated decision based on the info we give him! People like you make new comers of this hobby scared to ask questions and then the animal has to suffer! You could have given great advice.. but no it's easier eing a jerk I guess!?!

what i was saying, and it obviously went over your head, was that if you only have 350 dollars to spend, a kinkajou is not the pet for you...what do i spend thats hundreds of dollars a month? quality fresh fruits and veggies...have you noticed what they cost or do you eat dog food yourself?..any responsible pet owner should always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst..with a 350 dollar budget, i doubt he would have money to see a vet if your animal got fleas , let alone a serious problem....most breeders are in it for the money, lol ..goes to show what you know...kinkajous have one baby a year if youre lucky..take into account the vet check ups, prenatal vitamins ect, and if someoen were to sell a baby kink for 350 dollars, forget about being in it for the money, they would be losing lots of money!!!..these animals are exotics, come with a high price and lots of experience is required...to argue that is just silly...only a responsible owner should own one and obtaining a super exotic with a budget that wouldnet even cover materials for a single cage(if you built it yourself) let alone both, is just silly to even consider....again, you must have the same mentality as the poster to argue the fact that soneone with only 350 dollars, is far from the ideal kink owner..please direct me to one of these breeders who are " in it for the money pleaase" ill take about 3 dozen baby kinks right now for 350..most educated people know that owning an animal comes with far more costs and responsibility than just being able to save up the asking price of the animal and this guy hasnt even saven up the sales tax required!!!...im trying to do some good and save another animal the abuse of being in the wrong home or moving from shelter to shelter and if i have to be a little harsh about the way i say it, then so be it...youre litte comment about how you could get a free hampster with the purchase of a 25 dollar cage is just they type of childish thinking i was trying to point out. noone should own an animal they are not prepared to go the extra mile to take care of should there be a problem...kinkajous cost a lot because they are expensive to feed, raise, house and breed..no breeder in his right mind is going to spend thousands of dollars a year to feed their animals and almost as much on vet bills and heath certificates, only to feel sorry for some kid and give a baby away because he only has 350 dollars..that wouldnt be doing the kid a favor anyway, it would be doing the animal a huge diservice. ..again, and ill say it slow so you can bother understand...if you cant afford an animal, you cant afford an animal..plain and simple..leave it to those who can to care for these creatures...everything is not for everybody, no matter how cute!!..the "hes so cute i must have him rehardless of the fact that i cant afford him" is just spoiled thinking and animal cruelty. get a clue lady

oh, and why do i spend so much money on my vet bills for my kinks..do i not take care of them??ummm..again, that shows your mentality...going to the vet is the avoid illness and maintain health...not sit around waiting till your animal gets sick..i spend so much on my animals because i care for them and make sure their teeth are cleaned, ears cleaned, have check ups, blood work, stool samples, parasite checks..the basic things that are required when owning an exotic..kinks are not dogs or cats that can be treated with over the counter products...the require exotic animal vets and these are rare and costly...good pet owners see a vet to prevent a problem, not after the fact..if this costs me money, well, id rather have healthy animals and spend a few bucks than the alternative...im well aware of whats involved and when owning an exotic, there is only one way to do it,,the right way!!..your post made you sound really stupid and i would have kept my mouth shut if i were you..animals deserve the best care and corners should never be cut with their care, regardless who is giving free animals away with crappy sup par cages,

oh and to suggest experience can only be gained by buying the animal also shows your age..this is a living creature we are talking about...its not on the job training at the cost of the animals health...if this poster wasnt aware of the costs involved and how expensive baby kinks age, then he didnt research the care involved..how you gain the experience is perhaps joining a kinkajou forum, helping out at a zoo, pet store of animal shelter, reading books, asking questions online( and noyt questions like, " im broke, will someone pitty me and sell me a kink for less money than a vet would charge to provide a heath clearance so it can be sold legally?"..come on dude, youre a supposed kink owner, you should either know better be quiet...and again, this is an animals life we are talkin about..for a kink owner you dont seem too interested in making sure other kinks go to a good home..

To all the above, Just an FYI If you are USDA ( And I dont know if you are or not!). It is Mandatory!!! Your animal is Vet checked once a year, and if you ship it a CVC (certified vet certificate of health) must travel with the animal.
CVC can run $25.00 to $50.00 and annual check up $65.00 to $100.00
Primates are ruffly double
Just an FYI
