what i was saying, and it obviously went over your head, was that if you only have 350 dollars to spend, a kinkajou is not the pet for you...what do i spend thats hundreds of dollars a month? quality fresh fruits and veggies...have you noticed what they cost or do you eat dog food yourself?..any responsible pet owner should always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst..with a 350 dollar budget, i doubt he would have money to see a vet if your animal got fleas , let alone a serious problem....most breeders are in it for the money, lol ..goes to show what you know...kinkajous have one baby a year if youre lucky..take into account the vet check ups, prenatal vitamins ect, and if someoen were to sell a baby kink for 350 dollars, forget about being in it for the money, they would be losing lots of money!!!..these animals are exotics, come with a high price and lots of experience is required...to argue that is just silly...only a responsible owner should own one and obtaining a super exotic with a budget that wouldnet even cover materials for a single cage(if you built it yourself) let alone both, is just silly to even consider....again, you must have the same mentality as the poster to argue the fact that soneone with only 350 dollars, is far from the ideal kink owner..please direct me to one of these breeders who are " in it for the money pleaase" ill take about 3 dozen baby kinks right now for 350..most educated people know that owning an animal comes with far more costs and responsibility than just being able to save up the asking price of the animal and this guy hasnt even saven up the sales tax required!!!...im trying to do some good and save another animal the abuse of being in the wrong home or moving from shelter to shelter and if i have to be a little harsh about the way i say it, then so be it...youre litte comment about how you could get a free hampster with the purchase of a 25 dollar cage is just they type of childish thinking i was trying to point out. noone should own an animal they are not prepared to go the extra mile to take care of should there be a problem...kinkajous cost a lot because they are expensive to feed, raise, house and breed..no breeder in his right mind is going to spend thousands of dollars a year to feed their animals and almost as much on vet bills and heath certificates, only to feel sorry for some kid and give a baby away because he only has 350 dollars..that wouldnt be doing the kid a favor anyway, it would be doing the animal a huge diservice. ..again, and ill say it slow so you can bother understand...if you cant afford an animal, you cant afford an animal..plain and simple..leave it to those who can to care for these creatures...everything is not for everybody, no matter how cute!!..the "hes so cute i must have him rehardless of the fact that i cant afford him" is just spoiled thinking and animal cruelty. get a clue lady
