In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am...

I was on birth control with my daughter too...

When I'm not on birth control I don't get pregnant, but when I get on birth control, then I wind up pregnant...Stupid medicines...

Well, I am posting this from the hospital...from the iPad :)

Had the little stinker this morning at 8:24am! :)

HE was 6lb 5oz, and 18 1/4in long. :D

His name is Cruz Marcelino Perez...

I am posting a pic of him :D my best friend is holding him, will get one of him and I up when I'm on my computer.

Sorry to be so short, but I am tired, and worn out. Will post more later as I feel up to it.

Happy Birthday lil' guy!

Congratulations on the arrival of your newest family member!!! :?party:
Cruz has such a precious face, he's almost too adorable for words! <3 I hope they're taking good care of you both, that you're all doing well, and that you're finally able to get some rest like you deserve~

Thanks everyone! We are still in the hospital, they are doing tests on him, monitoring me, and I'm waiting on the paperwork people to come around.

We slept pretty well last night...even with all the interruptions from the staff doing their checks. He eats well already, has had several dirty diapers, (which is a good thing), and he is a pretty quiet baby for the most part.

Labor came on strong around 8pm Monday night, went to the hospital about 2.5 hours later, got admitted thirty minutes after getting there. Was dilated to 4cm, contractions were about 5-6min apart. Was told to walk around the floor for an hour, got back in room, they were 4-5min apart and 5cm dilated.

Will know more about when we are getting out here in a bit. :)

You' get some rest in about 18 -22 years give or take  Best of luck and hope you are able to get some zzz's in.

Finally got discharged about 3pm. :) Going to rest and will talk soon. Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

We are adjusting well so far...Go to the Dr. today for him, for his checkup. He's a little jaundiced but nothing bad. Will see if he's gained weight, or lost weight...Poor baby also has to get bloodwork done today as well.

Here's a pic of me, Cruz and Marishka (big sister)... (Don't mind me, I look like total crap, and I don't care! )

And one of just Cruz... (Yes I am a proud Mommy!)

Oooooooooh! Those little fingers!

You are making me want another baby Brandi! How adorable he is and precious! Good job momma!!!

Thanks Kerri!

We went to the Dr...My lil guy had to get blood drawn...I cried with him. I couldn't stand listening to him in pain. :(

Good news from the visit is that he's already gained 4oz in less than a week! AWESOMENESS! Normally it takes them a week to a week and a half to gain back to their original birth weight, and my big boy has already done that and passed it! Woohoo!

Bad news from the visit is that he is severely jaundiced. They ordered the special lights to help reverse the jaundice, and they are going to be delivered tomorrow morning. Will have to use the lights for a week, and then that's when both he and I go back for another appointment.

So far everything is on track, and he's doing well. :D

I like tangerine babies!!!

Hopefully the bilirubin gets into check soon for you. I cried when my son had to get blood drawn too, those heel sticks are mean!!

Keep up the good work! Stay hydrated! (Breast feeding or not--push those fluids!)

Thanks Kerri!

My wife's water broke 3 months early, so after many issues, many nights in the multiple hospitals, helicopter rides, & just being a new very nervous 1st time father didn't take to well to when the doctor taking blood & making my new born cry. Even thought I knew it was gonna happen, I may have been was a little overly protective but they let me come back still & I haven't missed a visit yet, lol. I definitely know how you feel!

What they do to kids now is unbelievable compared to when I had my last one delivered nearly 30yrs ago,I was present for the birth of my granddaughter and couldnt believe all the stuff they were "just checking".

Glad he's got all 10 fingers and toes, hope yall get thru the minor issues pretty quickly

Your children are beautiful! Don't worry about the jaundice. My second son came home with lights for a week, but at a 3-day check, he was already finished. Short visits outside (with appropriate protection) help speed up the process. Congratulations!

Noelle

We got the "lights"...Turns out it's a belly band that has to be worn at all times, unless changing his diaper or bathing him. His bilirubin levels were pretty high..15.4 on a scale of 0.0-10.0...So we absolutely have to have this on him for the entire week... :(

He doesn't like the band, but at least I know he's getting the therapy he needs. It's a bright blue lighted band... Might actually comfort him at night since I use a round LED light when I change his diaper at night...Hmmm...

Thanks for the compliments on my kiddos...I tried hard with them. ;) Their skin tones are very nice, and my daughter doesn't burn, (unlike her momma.) Guess that's what you get when you have a way-white momma and a dark Hispanic daddy.

Here's what it looks like on him... He doesn't like being naked...
