In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am...

So much better than 20 years ago! We had a thing that looked like an open suitcase, lined with lights, and my son was supposed to spend all his time in there. It didn't bother him, but when you're hormonal and are told not to hold your newborn, it's tough on Mom.

NO KIDDING! :crying: They told me I can't hold him unless I'm breast feeding. :( Me no happy about that. :nonod:

I noticed it's a little warm...He's enjoying that, and sleeping quite well...

I was notified by his Dr today after the delivery of the light band, that when we go in on Monday that he has to have another heel prick to make sure his bilirubin levels are going down... :crying: I have to go in and do that appointment by myself too...No Bueno!

I guess we will have to make an exception to the rule of "All the time" though. I have to pick my daughter up from Catholic school here at 3pm...So guess he'll have to be off the lights until we get home...It's only about a 5 minute jot to the school, but I guess total he'll be off the lights for about 30 minutes. :shrug01:

I remember (a whole 4 yrs ago) when they wanted blood samples from my newborn son, they actually thought they were going to take him from me and go to the back lab/procedure room. The nurse said something about taking him back by himself as being the easiest and best thing.

I still, to this day, give myself props for allowing her to keep her face after that.

Biology lesson #1. Don't mess with a mama or her offspring.

Well today we officially are able to take him off of the belly band. His levels have just now come down to an acceptable level. Thank goodness! :bow01: It was almost to the point that he might have had to be admitted in the hospital... :( No Bueno!

We have had to change some things up with him as well. He is now on both formula and breast milk. He wasn't gaining weight with just breast milk, so I've had to supplement with formula as well... He's finally up to 6lbs 11oz! I'm ecstatic about this! :hurray:

He is more alert and smiles almost all the time. Especially when I have music playing and sing to him... (though I think he needs to have his ears examined again...because I don't think I sing too well...Both him and my daughter love to hear me sing. Weirdos! )

I'm just happy that he's healthy once again! No more heel pricks...(He had about 10 in the 2 1/2 weeks he was born! ) We do go back to the Dr. in 10 days to make sure he's still gaining weight and progressing in the right direction. But everything is looking positive!

My boy sleeping in his crib, and then his "milk hit" face.

Thought I'd show off my boy!

He's almost 11lbs now! I go in for an official weigh in on the 8th...That's also the day he gets his 2mo shots...(much to my dismay...:ack2:)

He ALMOST fits into 0-3mo clothes. LOL They have been swimming on him, and he's only been in newborn since he's been born, but looks like he's almost able to wear them now without it looking like we shrunk him. lol

I surprised him with the flash on my camera, and then he's laying with Daddy...

What a handsome lad he is turning out to be!! He looks happy and comfy with Dad.

Don't let it fool you! lol He is actually a HUGE Mommy's boy. Normally when he's with his Daddy and he knows I'm home, he will scream and cry. Then when Daddy hands him to me, he gets quiet. He loves to be cuddled and carried by me. Never thought I'd be one of those women who "wear" their baby, but he's turned me into one of them. lol

Well Cruz is over 13lbs, and he's so alert! He's my happy smiley monkey-butt boy!

Wish I could get pics of him smiling, but every time I try to get the pic, he gets a confused look on his face. lol

Him sitting with daddy, & him in his carseat taking a siesta!

lol, I'm currently waiting on a phone call from my OB/GYN's scheduling team to schedule my surgery to get my tubes tied. I want no more babies!

Cruz is barely in 0-3mo clothes even though he's over 13lbs. They are still big on him...And he's still in size 1 diapers. I'm hoping that he has a growth spurt when he's older, and doesn't stay small. lol Poor guy!

My son was born at 7lbs even and 18 inches long. He stayed very petite until he hit about a year old. He weighed like 17 pounds at a year old. Then bam!

At four, he is now 52 inches tall and weighs 57 lbs. It doesn't help that my dad is 6'4 and my husband is 6'2.

My son was born 6lbs 5oz, and 18 1/4" long... That's 6oz, and 2 inches smaller than my daughter when she was born. My son is now only 21" long, (and that's stretched out...lol.)

My SO is 5'11, and I'm 5'7...I'm one of the tallest women in my family, (I only have one cousin taller than me, and she's 5'9). My dad is 5'7, and my mom is 5'2. My SO's dad is 5'11, and his mom is 5'4.

I guess what I'm getting at is that I'm average, my SO is average, but both our kids are short. lol Oh well...At least it should save on clothes, (except shoes! OMG My daughter's going to have my huge feet...She's only 6 and already in size 13 child or size 1 big kid depending on the shoe!)

Shoes! Don't get me started on shoes. My four year old is in size 13.

Pretty sure he doesn't have feet, but flippers.

As long as Cruz is still feeding well, he's on his way! You'll be surprised like me when he gets to preschool.

I can hope. He's below the curve right now...But his Dr. isn't concerned as he is healthy as all get out. I know my daughter still hasn't hit her growth spurt, but oh well. Guess they'll catch up in time.

Well, here's my baby boy at almost 6mo old! I can't believe how fast time has flown by!

He has some of the most gorgeous eyes, smiley all the time, and a humongous momma's boy.
