    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

mind, hereby leave my boa collection to.........

I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous about what next week could bring for me. Could it be a week filled with adrenaline or could it end up being the demise of Bob Woodard, Husband, father and friend???

I never gave the process much thought until the day of departure rapidly grew near. I'm suppose to be working right now but I have to admit, the nervous anticipation is killing me. I've never really been faced with such an formidable opponent that literally could end up killing me.

I reckon, at some point in an individuals life, they have to look death in the face. It's at that time that you finally figure out what you're made of. Do you hold still hoping that death will pass you by? Or.....do you, like so many before, look it boldly in the face and proclaim.....Hell hath no fury like.....!!!!!!!

I reckon when all is said and done I'll be stronger for it. I am confident that I will stand before the threat and face it head on. I won't bow down to an opponent, regardless of it's intimidating posture. I'll be strong. I will survive. I will conquer.

I've elected to bring the fight to my opponent. I don't need no stinking high vantage point to wait for my attacker. I'm doing it from the ground, face to face, teeth gnashing, full fledge fighting this time. Certainly not for the faint at heart nor the cowardly...... Something or someone is going to die. That's a certainty.

I have to admit, it's 10 times stronger and at least twice my size, which will obviously lean the odds in it's favor. I reckon my tenacity can help sway the odds closer to the middle. I'm no small guy. Sammy can attest to that. But, do I truly have what it takes to beat the odds? Can I really stand up and defeat this? How many other people have died accomplishing the same thing I am attempting? Countless I reckon.... Will this help to end the madness that is in my dreams each night? You know, the one where cold sweat beads up on my brow as I dream? I just don't know......I can only hope....

Its not always size that has to matter! Who is the quickest? Who is the most resilient? whos got the upper edge?

Well Alicia...I wouldnt say we all "Love" Bob, but if he wasnt around who would make me feel like a piece of crap for having an opinion on anything?? If he is serious in whatever this venture may be I do hope the outcome is in his favor...perhaps he is going hunting for bear or something, knowing that Bob is a hunter, and Bear hunting would certainly be facing death from an opponet that is at least twice his size and much stronger, but who knows. Anyways Bob your last post got the song "Clairvoyant" from Iron Maiden stuck in my head because of the whole sweat on your brow thing lol, so thanks for that, now I will be singing it all day. In case you guys dont know the song the opening lyrics are "Feel the sweat break on my brow, Is it me or is it shadows that are dancing on the walls...Is this dream or is it now, Is this a vision or normality I see Before my eyes." Actually, Daniel nailed it. I leave this Friday for bear hunting. I've elected to do it from the ground so that I can face the bear on a little more even playing field, albeit I am loaded for bear. While it should be a lot fun, it's also a bit intimidating so know that I will literally be face to face with one of these monsters. Right now, they are telling me to expect a field dress weight of 500lbs which would equate to a roughly 700 pound bear.

So, if you don't hear from me in about 2 weeks then you know that the person once known as Griz was officially eaten by one!
