    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I keep getting this message every time I try to see new posts...

I am a paying member; I activated my account eons ago, but I cannot seem to access some things here anymore...has my account been suspended or inactivated? Thank you in advance for your help!
 
I get this message when I try to access "new threads" under the quick links icon...

YJHB, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
 
Part 2 of this thread is probably related to part 1.

Did you change your email address recently? Whenever you change your email address, the system automatically sends you a verification email (much like when you first registered) to make sure the new email address is valid. Until you click on the link within that email sent to you, you are placed in a limbo state on this site.

If something has gone wrong with this process, you will have to email me directly (not a private message) from the email address you are registered under so I can fix the problem.
 
Gosh, would I ever love to send you an e-mail, but this site is not allowing me access to your e-mail address or to your public profile. Would you mind mailing me first? My e-mail address is [email protected]
I was having problems with my e-mail server when I first set this up...if I got a mail from Fauna, I'd like to think I would have clicked on the link. I don't remember if I got a mail from Fauna's system or not, I was verifying my mail address to so many entities and it was late at night.
 
Hmm...no mails from you, Rich. Is my mail server bouncing your mails back to you?
