Bad Guy I have a problems with Justin

I'm reading through this thread and I can't understand why Justin won't send his money back? They're not doing business together so why not send the money back? Nonrefundable $13500 deposits are a little crazy to me. If it costs you money to wire the money back then I would subtract that amount from the amount owed and refund the money.

The guys isn't trying to return the snakes of anything. He never even had the snakes in his possession. He just wants his money back.

Jerry asked me to change the invoice amount to avoid paying a 20% VAT tax

he explained he had no way of paying such a large amount.

I said no way

Jerry said send his money back

I said no

He refused to accept this.

Later after insulting my wife he tried telling me he had money for Vat TAX but I will not ship do to concerns that he might not actually pay..making me responsible.

I have already explained a month ago that his order will be in Daytona for pickup and he needs to arrange pickup and the export himself..

Because of this thread and all the FBI BS I turned him into the USFW as well as the Taiwan authorities.

I also know several well known breeders have been doing this for him...I would guess those who have will most likely be hearing from the IRS and USFW at some point...

Complete BS excuse. No skin off your back to list a lower Invoice value, as the deal was so old. Second, you have zero obligation to pay a VAT on arrival in Taiwan. If Jerry does not pay it, then perhaps they confiscate the animals, give him conditional release, etc. But you have fulfilled your obligation. You are covered in every possible venue with the email communications.

Only thing hitting the fan is your reputation. Good riddance.

I had reconstructive knee when I tore my acl, mcl, medial and lateral meniscuses, partial tear of my patella tendon and had cartillege damage and I still went to work outside doing pool service. Suck if up and be a man or have your wife ship them. Stop the pity party crap that you want to throw out there for sympathy and be a man for crying out loud.

when the accident happened, jerry has accepted it. i believe this was near the end of september.

in this e-mail you can see that jerry waited patiently.

I understand Justin's situation, but please understand mine. I am sitting here in the dark not knowing whether or not my money will be returned because of this absence of communication. The whole "we'll return your money once your order has been sold." explanation is not very reassuring. In this respect, when is Justin expected to recover from his injuries? You cannot expect me to wait forever.

So please, let me know in your reply when I can expect my money to be returned, and not just "when your orders are sold." I need a time frame. Like I said, being in the dark about $13500USD is very unsettling and if you refuse to return my money within a reasonable time, then I am OK with you sending me my original order.

Also, Please drop the threats . It is extremely unprofessional and it gets us nowhere. At the end of the day, the paperwork was issued by Justin and he is just as liable as I am .

It sounds like Jerry was being handed bs from the get go, Justin's wife Shelia should have taken some initiative and handled the situation I mean after all they are in business right? they are a team supposedly? They need to just send the guy his money back.
I had surgery last year right in the middle of breeding season and my 15yr old daughter managed to get snakes shipped and put breeders together with very little instruction, even through 3 mos of pain meds I still took care of my business. Sometimes you just gotta cowboy up!

Why would you not ship??? Your end of it was finished... Nothing can happen to you if he does not pay the tax... I am not sure why this was weighing heavy on you especially after he said he had the tax money to pay on his end...

Not refunding the money and wont ship out the product. No Government official will take to his come pick them up in Daytona or nothing. Need to get in touch with IRS as well and report the amount, and file other claims in your country.

It sounds to me like Justin has probably already spent the $13,500 and that is why he is refusing to refund the money to the purchaser, Jerry.

Bottom line is common sense, Jerry paid Justin $13,500ish for animals that Justin did not ship. Justin did not deliver his end of the agreement. Justin tried to change the agreement. The purchaser did not agree and asked for a refund. Very straightforward and simple solution, regardless of all the other drama you are trying to bring into it about VAT and medical issues/surgery. Give the guy his money back or you'll be having a "sh*t hit the fan" moment of your own, it seems, to the tune of grand theft?

True but it was a mistake on my part... The guy we spoke about does indeed own the product but I messed up by assuming it was in use at that particular place... And I was also told by another party that he was using it but I never got that info first hand...
