    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I got ripped of by a guy named Terry Forrest, from tucson AZ.  I sent him my MO for some blue tongues and a savannah.
all I have gotten from him is excuses,  he even went as far as to say his father in law was at deaths door, then the herps were sick, then the PO wouldnt ship them, well i paid for shipping.  I paid enough for them to go UPS or airborn or anyway the had to be shipped.  his email is [email protected].  he even called me on the phone so i thought I was safe,  it has been turned in to the forum I saw him on.  just wanted to keep others from getting screwed and not kissed.  Bobbi Palmer

I dont have his phone # because he called me  he only got me for 150.00 but Im just starting out and it really hurt.  He seemed so honest.  I still have the emails he sent.  it was only the second time I ordered off the net.  it has left a really bad taste in my mouth,  Im sure there are honest people out the but, you never know who to trust,  Btw I own a pet shop in Moberly Missouri,  it opens may 1st  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

sorry to hear about it..nobody needs to get jammed like that..first time..second time..tenth time..its just such a shame that people do that kind of selfish chit.
 
nope I found the ad on kingsnake,  i dont know a soul in tucson,  but thats a great idea.  I will post something to that effect.  thanks for the great idea,  should I post it in this forum?

                 Sorry to hear about your misfortune and I wish I could be of some help, but alas ...... Unfortunately there are scum bags in every field you go into, but when you see something you like before buying you really need to try and check out the individual or the company as the case may be.  I know hindsight is 20/20 but ..... I am sure someone here has heard or dealt with him, in fact I have even seen that email address before, I just cant remember where ?  I am going to check my filing cabinet to see if he emailed me about an animal, if I find out anything I will let you know.  Dont give up on internet sales as they can be very lucrative.  Just try to watch out for the theives and scammers.  Good luck on the pet store by the way ..... in a store you have to worry about people shoplifting.  I have a friend who manages a pet store and he caught a shoplifter and they BIT him, he even needed stitches .... Just something to think about.

Sorry Bobby, I think I may have been screwed too.  At least mine was on credit card.  I've contacted them to see what can be done.  
On another note.  I live in Ashland MO.  About 12 miles south of Columbia, Mo.  I use to hang out in Moberly all the time when I was in my mid twenties.  I'll have to come up and check out your shop.  
I hope you eventually get your reptiles.  I'm in it for about 210.00.

I know this is an old old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knew how this all ended. I am looking into doing a deal with Terry myself, and this is the only thread I have found on him and it doesn't look good. He did Give VPI and Rich Isle as references, but I haven't gotten replys from them yet. Thanks.

Whats the deal your working out with him and How is it going to go are you buying something and sending the money out first or is he buying?
 
Most people give out big names as references.
Then it turns out they bought from the big name.

They do not realize that buying is different from selling.

Ask him about this thread.....
as a matter of fact...give him the link.

Then e-mail the people on this thread that were "ripped off"

If by US postal money order for example, you can go onto kingsnake and check out the ripoff section and go down those appropriate avenues to see what you do about it!

I did a deal with him last year...he is a huge pain in the ass!!! I bought a pair of anery boas from him.....anyway that's a whole another story.....

To the person that is thinking of dealing with him....this guy has taken 2 peoples money and he was unpleasent to deal with for another person, what makes you think that he may treat you any better? Not to be harsh, but if I knew someone has ripped other people off, there is no way in he!! that I would deal with them! I hope that the people that he screwed over gets their animals or money back! Good luck.
 
well.....

I got my snakes....but he lied about 20 times to me about shipping them.....like I said huge pain in the ass!!! I was waiting to see his name come up on this thing....I have caller ID so I had his work number,Cell,and girls friends number....I even called the post office and had them hold the money order....the lady from the US Post Office said he was a ass....he yelled at her, so she was more then happy to help....Chris
