    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i lost six eggs out of 12. right when their being to hatch. has any one had this problem before?

I did loose one egg about a week - 10 days before here clutch mate hatched. Not sure why I also have to females that laid nothign but infertile eggs. I thought it was nothing more than cause they are first time breeders do.

I've actually only hatched out about 5 leos so far (a few more in the incubator), but it would have been size if not for the one that dies. She slit the shell and I could see her, but she never came out. I was told to wait and did for a day before opening it up, but it was too late. I don't know what causes it, but it was layed by a first year breeder as well. Hopefully we'll have better luck next year with her.

Maybe...

Hey there,

If the babies were about to hatch (or you think that the babies were about to hatch) i am saying you think is because sometime the eggs look perfectly normal after 45+ days, so we all assume they are about to hatch...but maybe the gecko hasnt even formed at all. I noticed that in some eggs...they went up to 70 days, and looked fairly normal, so i opened them, and all i found were the eyes of the gecko that were still being formed, and nothing else.
