    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i need advise/help

just recently my baby savannah monitor has gotten some arches in his back, he has stopped using his back legs, and he has stopped eating and so far all i can think of doing is force feeding him and excercising his back legs for him (stretching and retracting his legs for 20 min.) i dont have the money for vet. bills and i just want to try and get him healthy again

:shrug01: i need help and i dont know what else to do he looks like he is totally sick hes about 6 months old and about 8 in. long hes also gotten really skinny but force feeding has helped that a little but not enough to where hes looking any better

plz help me

Matt, I am trying not to sound harsh here....but that animal MUST see a vet. Improper force feeding can do more damage than good, and may be doing nothing but prolonging his suffering. If you cannot afford to take him to a vet, please, please get him to someone who can.

Until you can get him help, do what you can to make him as comfortable and unstressed as possible. Make sure he is being properly housed. What kind of enclosure, and what temps are you keeping him at? Could he have gotten an injury to his back? Can you post any pics of him?

I'm keeping him at a regular temp. for a Savannah, the regular temp. in his terrarium is about 85-90 degrees F his terrarium is about 5X2' i still don't understand how his back could have been injured hes never been dropped and hes never fallen off of anything its really making me wander what happened; he was fine for a while and then all of these problems started to occur and i cant explain anything

his legs have gotten a little better since i started working them out for him and hes kind of started to use them again but not enough to where hes running around his cage again

he was eating pinkies for a while then he wouldn't eat them so i down graded him to crickets but he never ate one of them so i gave him meal worms and he loved those but he just recently stopped eating completely and now hes looking kind of skinny but he'll still drink his water but i have to put him in it because he wont move, its like taking care of a cripple bed ridden person, i have to do everything for him
