    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm sorta new to the cresties. I have 2 as of now (a breeding pair Hopefully) and need to get some info on what i need to do to get these guys to "make babies" so to speak. As of now I keep my terrarium at about 77 during the day and 68 at night. Humidity stays about 55%. I know they need some type of enclosure to lay eggs in but what does this enclosure consist of, thats what I need my help with? I'll take any input y'all can give me.
 
Adam are you still there?? If you can't tell if they are a breeding pair they are not old enough to breed. You should distinkly be able to see "male bulge" on a male.
How old are they, and how much do they weigh?

Yep im still hanging around :). Yeah, I have a male and a female, I knew how to sex them. My male is a brown dalmation about 30grams. My female is a harley and is about 26-28 grams. Both of them are about 8 months old (give or take a few weeks). I need to know what kind of setup i need to get them to breed? Someone suggested a tupperware container with a hole cut in it offcenter and filled with bed-a-beast or vermiculite? Got any imput on this? And should I have eggs what temp do they need to be incubated at. I've heard various suggestions anywhere from room temp 68F all the way up to about 79F (seems lower temps would cause longer hatching time, and may produce larger healthier baby cresties) I just don't want to "freeze" them to death so to speak. Right now I have my breeder pair and an unsexed Juvie (which Im wanting to sale or trade) in the same cage? Whats your imput on that too (ok or should i separate).

first off, for the most part if temperatures drop into the sixties it will cause the female to stop breeding. temps should be kept in the 70's. room temp is best for incubating. highest temps should be about 78 dgrees. peat moss is commonly used for bedding also. keep it moist not wet. you should also wait untill your female is over 30 grams. it pays off in the long run.

You should seperate the juvie if you haven't already. They can only be kept together if they are about the same size. With the juvie being so much smaller the other two will dominate the cage.

hi how's it going, first off get the juvie out keep just the adult's together. i use a small gladware container with a hole twice the size as the gecko's and duct on the edge's to keep from injuring.i use bed a beast and organic topsoil. it has worked for me for three years now.i currently have 2 trio's and two pairs and all use the same type of container. hope this helps.

Looks like you are on the right track. But don't use duck tape. I've payed before using it, they can get them selves stuck and it will rip their skin, so don't use it. If you are worried about ruff sides take a saudering tip or a really hot iron and melt the edges, BE CARFUL!!!

last night i noticed one of my cresteds was really weak. while i was holding her i noticed that she had a cough or sneeze. she barely can walk at this point. i tried hand feed her a cricket, she took it chewed on it but right before i thought she was going to swallow it. she shook her head and spit it out. im extremely worried. she was fine the day before. if anyone has a clue of whats going on please let me know.
 
Looks like you need to get her to the vets asap!!! They would know better than any one what is going on. It could be metabolic bone disease or... alot of other things. I would take her to a reptile vet asap!!!
