the guy i bought my vield from says they are extremely un handleable but yet i see pictures with people holding them and i would like to know if it is possible to handle the even if for only a little bit :eatpointe

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

they shouldt be handled alot. but you still can take them out for some minutes. start by feeding him by hand so he asociate you with food. and dont grab him. let him walk in ur hand.

In my experiances with mean chams..is when they are threatend they will hiss and try and lunge at you!
So i would put one hand behind him/her and wave my free hand in front of them, they usually try and get away from my free hand- so they run right up my other arm-wich was postioned for them to do so!
That tactic doesn't always work...Its just cool for me....you may try it hope it works....I usually would hold my chams around once a week sometimes longer droughts happen though-due to work schedual..
10 minutes here and there should let your cham get to know you! And let it know you do not want to harm it!
I will also give you this warning...My neigbor tried my method with my most ferocious cham, and got about a third of her fingernail chawed off!
Dont mess with them to much due to stress factors for them....Will shorten their life span-breeding habits-eggs-ect...

my cham has lightend up she is begining to like me she isnt dark ne more she is shwin off her green and she isnt hissing and she is openly takin crixouta my hand and i got her to get on my arm with the help of a cricket

Chameleons have mood changes alot and sometimes will be dark then they will be light. If he isnt in a lot of traffic then he should be ok and shouldnt be stressed. I guess the chameleon was that hungry to chase a cricket up your arm. I would also use gloves as chameleons have a bad bite sometimes. I heard this guy had to get 30 stitches because his huge oustalet's cham bit his thum and pointing finger. nearly took them both off so you have to be careful.
