    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this or not. If not, could someone please direct me to the appropriate forum.

I wanted to know if anyone knew how to look up I.P. addresses? Is there a site where this can be done without spending $600 on an info search?

I'm getting some unusual reptile related emails that appear to be international. I'd like to know if they're legit or just another scam waiting to happen. They're not the typical cut and paste jobs that have been going around lately. Thanks,

Well, if you're using an email client such as Eudora, you'd be able to get the IP right away from the email.

Otherwise, all I can offer is to try

Start-Run-nslookup

Those emails are completely ficticious. Everyone has been getting them. I also get them related to my small animals, as well as the products I sell on Ebay!

Try asking them for a phone number ha ha. See how soon they respond.
