    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ian of Outback Reptiles

How has this been "delt with" as you put it? The op did not receive ANY resolve from the bad deal with Ian. Unless you count being craped on at a show because you bought a sick snake from a "breeder" and wanted a replacement. I'm sure if you were in his shoes you would be happy with the resolution for the situation, $400 in vet bills and a shitty day at the show... WOW!

It's been dealt with - why beat a dead horse? Simply not supporting Outback with purchases is enough to satisfy your feelings. Why feel the need to post about it? Actions often speak louder than words...

I have not personally bought anything from Outback Reptiles yet I do plan on purchasing several of his Bush Babies along with hopefully a female Morph Bp (if priced right Josh & Mike Hook me up LMAO) at the upcoming Richmond Reptile Expo March 28th I have been in talks with Josh very extensivly I told Josh what I am looking for in the Females and So far the Service is excellent Im sure Josh got tired of seeing my name in his inbox Lol I have only read great reviews on Ian/Outback Reptile until now the ones I did read were posted by fake acounts and seen deleted from Bp breeders in my area and the local Exotic pet shop all have given Ian a great review on all the animals he sell I am looking foward to meeting Ian & Mike at the Richmond Reptile Expo March 28

P.S. Mike make sure Ian Brings some Female Bush Babies in the 800+ gram range witj Very interesting colors and markings PLEASE and if you got a great deal on a 100 % Het Albino Female Bp bring her to
 
I must say I agree with you clarence, I do plan on buying from outback reptiles AS I BELIVE THEY ARE GOOD GUYS both Mike and Josh have always treated me with kind words and have went out of their way a few times when I was wanting to add this or that to the collection. I do know things happen when peoples attitudes get in the way especially while some one is attacking your business, BUT Ian was the adult in this situation and he could have gone about this much better IMO. I also must have missed the discount offered to ralphie as I was not aware outback offered a discount on another snake and raplhie refused. That eases the pain but an apology from BOTH Ian AND RALPHIE would go along way.

Dude iv been buying and trading with ian for years and if i ever had a problem with a snake he takes care of me, also the Stuff happens ya win some and ya loose some and if you would of came to mu table with attitude i would of laughed in your face bro, Ian is a Veteran in this business and a good friend to many...P.S dont come to my shows thanks...Northern Berks reptile shows

I'm sorry if I missed it in this long LONG thread of complaint, backing, evidence, etc etc...... I don't know either party, but wanted to just ask a question in regards to some of the comments made:

One post mentioned women in the hobby, to which a woman replied stating that she was hoping it was said as a joke. It was, and that was great.
Then I saw a post about maybe if the OP didn't look like a queer, etc etc...... granted this is an obvious bash fest thread, but here comes my question: so are queers (yes I mean gay individuals and am just being sarcastic myself) not 'allowed' or 'invited' or 'welcomed' into the reptile hobby? Or is it just not the snake hobby, for the obvious jokes to be made :) Sorry couldn't resist.
However that is a serious question in mind, do all the animal hobbies seem to have little segments of discrimination in some form?
 
I'm done with the hobby for now Russmore. I probably wouldn't want to buy from you anyways since you deal with Ian all the time and I do not want another sick snake. My snake is finally back to health and it took $1k in vet bills to fix him. I will never buy from Ian again if I ever get back into reptiles. I acted wrong that day and so did Ian. That is that and this thread is old news. Good day.
 
Ian at Outback.... Golden guy in my book... Picked up several animals from him in the past... Not one issue... Thats my imput...

So I got warning for QUESTIONING the use of not only a discriminatory word that was used to describe a member here, but a word that qualified in THIS context as a hate crime which is a FELONY........ and yet this is allowed to still be here which was what led to my question??
Yet again, I got warned for using this word, not in reference to any one person just simply typing the word and actually trying to be a reader who was NOT letting this pathetic STUPID post get on his nerves for many reason...... interesting, guess I got the answer to my discrimination question.
 
While this is not the place for a discussion of your warning (and I suggest again that you review the rules and infraction list, before you get yourself in more trouble) - You didn't question the use of the term, you asked: are queers not 'allowed' or 'invited' or 'welcomed' into the reptile hobby? As has been explained to you a few times now, derogatory terms are not tolerated here.
I suggest you stop trying to twist this into something it isn't....and, if you have any further issue with it, take it to the Fauna Feedback Forum. If you continue with it in THIS thread, you can count on infractions for disruptive posting to add to your warning.
 
I would like to personally say sorry to Ralph Turner for the words I used. It was very unprofessional and wrong. Whether if Ralph Turner was right or wrong I was completely wrong and out of line for the words I used and I wish I could get the statements pulled if possible. Again Ralph sorry for the name calling whether you are right or wrong.

I think the karma from Ian's employee shows the character of who works for him. No wonder I was told to go screw when I received a sick animal from them. 2 years later I have still not been given a refund, a replacement animal or even an apology. But 2 years later I get bad karma by one of Ian's cronies.
And people wonder why I refuse to buy from them and tell others to avoid them.

If you look at Mike Schultz's profile, it appears his account was hijacked on the same day that the karma was left. He may have left his computer signed in and someone started posting as him. I'm not defending the action, just posting an observation.

Yup i have no idea who spj is. My account was messed with recently but my pw is changed now.

On a side note, i havent worked for ian in 2 years or something so regardless nothing i post should be associated with them anyways
 
I can't help wondering if the hacker happens to share an IP address with any other Fauna members. Sexual innuendo and latent homophobia appear to be a bit of a recurring theme with the Outback crew. The nature of the Karma comment, the fact that it was given to someone who happened to have spoken out against Outback, the nature of the revisions to the hacked profile, as well as the subtle comment about being "logged in at your old place of employment", all kinda seem to point in a similar direction. Kinda odd that Josh just so happened to check in and comment on Mike's profile on the day that the account was hacked. Maybe it's all just coincidence.:shrug01:

Well, I see your "penis puppet" comment wasn't an isolated incident. You're apparently just as worthless as your supposedly former associates, whether they be Outback or Ashley Caspillo.
