In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It's not a kink the cord was still attached in those pics right where he was laying and he was the first one out. I was watching him come out of the egg with camera in hand so the shot was not exactly the perfect one. I was over excited to get the pics online because last year I was slammed for supposedly not having hypos when I was selling them. I have new pics that shows there is no kink. With as tight as some on here look at me I should have previewed the pics before posting my add but I was very excited to show proof that I do in fact have hypos. Can't win here!

I have new pics for anyone who will send me an email asking.

Allen why should we believe you that the snake in the "new" pic is infact this one here? I would bet big money someone down the line is going to complain they received a kinked snake from you  .Has your college cleared them of IBD or are they infected like the rest of your collection?

I asked Allen to send me the photos so I could post them here. Believe or disbelieve that's up to you, but here are the pictures. Randy

Back in the day I had a couple of years where I produced a couple of hundred baby burms. None of the healthy ones looked like those.

I would occasionally get a premie or one that was just wrong that looked sort of like those. It doesn't matter who produced them, they just don't look "right."

I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks if they're still alive and have shed and eaten.

I agree with you Wes.They look like corn snakes instead of burmese babies

What line of hypos are these Allen? Are they from the Platinum line, the other codominant line or something different all together? I'm just not sure why they are so pink? I would also be curious what temps you incubated them at and how many days they were incubated for.

Also, in the pics that Raven posted, is the one out of the egg dead?

Alright, I was looking at Raven's pics again and it looks like I can see the other in the clutch below, and there are some that are very dark, but I just don't understand how your hypos are so light. Did you do a hypo to hypo breeding?

Does anyone else think these hypos are just premature albino burms?...lol It sort of looks like the one in the last pics posted has orange coloration developing on it's head, and you can hardly dectect much of the snakes pattern in the pics. I've had some albino eggs die late into incubation that looked similar to these. The pattern then coloration are the last things that develop in the incubation process.

When I first saw these pics I sort of wondered if these were the homozygous form from one of the codominant lines out there. The two proven lines of hypo burms I know about either produce what's called a phantom leucistic, or a blue eyed leucistic. To get these you have to either breed a hypo to a hypo from either line, in which case half the babies should be hypos, 25% should be normal and 25% should be the leucistic type. Now looking at the last pics posted and seeing the babies at the bottom, all I see are normals and some really light colored ones, no hypos. Given that most of the babies should be hypo, that certainly raises a red flag when you don't seen any.

Hopefully Allen can explain this a little better, but from what I'm seeing so far this all looks very very fishy.

Well now could these be just as you say here? I wonder if Allen will ever answer this question or just read everything as he has been doing :shrug01: .

Ben the snake is alive and is from hypo to hypo breeding. They are off white with kind of a bubblegum pink pattern. I tried to crop them and put them under different lighting condictions to help show the pattern. I found out this morning a black and white photo displays the pattern the best. The snake in the first pic is the same as the one I sent ravensgait to post. The snake was coming out of the egg and I had been waiting and pacing on it so I did not ensure the pic or the position of the snake when taking the photo. The snake still had the cord attached and it had the snake held up from being released and able to crawl around freely. I have seven "white snakes" in this clutch. I however had the same problem some other breeders have in them pipping and then dying. I have three left in the clutch with the second of the three coming in and out of the egg about halfway. The project is so new and there are so many unknowns in it that whether it is a weak gene or what is still unknown. I know from my own dealings with hypos that the hatch rate on a hypo to anything else besides another hypo are extremely better odds. If someone else has had any issues like this described with other forms of burmese before any info and help would be appreciated. I have several other hypo clutches hatching this season and only time will tell on this project. Incubation was 62 days and 89 degrees. I also am working with a pair of burmese that produce an axanthic looking baby. Maybe a different form of hypo I don't know but I will be mixing those with albinos this season as well in hopes of a snow burmese somewhere in the future for our industry.

So these babies are from the platinum line and the white/pink ones are Phantom Leucistics then? Are these in this link what yours look like? Also did you get any like the one is the bottom picture in the link?

Thanks for your response and for trying to clear this up. Your pics aren't the best and it's really hard to see. I still couldn't really seen much of a pattern in that other pic you posted either.

Link to pics of phantom Leucistic hatching (not Allen's clutch)

Hey Alan, do you get these babies feeding first before you sell them.

Alan, no answer? How about another one. Do you sell your babies before they start eating?

Well, it seems Alan is refusing to answer a simple question. So I am going to take this as; Alan sells, at full value, disabled animals before he gets them feeding.

I'd change the "full value" part of your post to "inflated value"....and then think you've probably summed it up about right.
