In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ID these Candoia please

I was given these 2 boas by a vendor at a local swap. I am pretty sure they are one of the Candoia species of Pacific island boas but I am not sure which one. one is eating live fuzzys and the other is only taking forgs and toads at this time. any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,
Sorry but the picture is not good enough for Me to make a positive ID. The Pacific island Boas and the Caribbean Boas look similar from that distance. My first thought when I saw the the pictures was Haitian Boas. If you send me better photos I will try to do better,
Good Luck with them

I will try to get better pics. A low quality camera coupled with lower quality photography ability doesn't always produce the best shots. Is there any particular shots that would be more helpfull (head shots, belly shots etc)

Thanks

Steve

The first 1/3 of the body with a head shot and then a good overall body shot would be best to try and figure it out.
Good Luck

Hoppy,

I tried some more but the combination of cheap camera and no photography skills didn't give me anything better. A friend of mine has a much better camera and much more skill. When i can get him to take a few I will post them or send you some.

Thanks again

Steve
