I'm excited about this clutch(genotypically at least)

I originally started in Ball Pythons in 2007 to produce an Albino Pied. The original Albino female that I started with wouldn't eat so that project went on the back burner. I purchased a hatchling Black Pastel Albino female from Gulfcoast Reptiles in January of 2009 with plans on breeding her to my already proven high white Pied male.
Breeding season starts in 2011 and my Black Pastel Albino is big enough but early in the year my Pied male decided that he just wasn't ready yet. I decided that I didn't want to miss the opportunity so started throwing in his son, a Spider 100% Het Pied. Anyway fast foward to today and the clutch came out. I think that I hatched out 2 Black Pastel Spiders, 1 Black Pastel and 1 normal all 100% het Albino and 50% het for Pied, so not really cool to look at but hoping that at least a few prove out to be double hets. I haven't sexed them yet and even was able to resist the urge to cut even a single egg. Here they are. Do you think that the Spiders are Black Pastels? Their heads coming out of the egg looked like normals??

Congrats I can see why you are excited and yes to me those look like Blackbees although I've never hatched any out. The color doesn't look like a normal spider and has that kinda grey wash that blackbees have

In the second picture the bottom spider looks like a black bee, the other looks like a normal spider?
Congrats and good luck proving them out!

Congrats! Your Black Pastel Albino girl is a real looker. I love the pattern of the Black Pastel combined with the Albino...she's the first adult I've seen:).

I agree, she's smokin, I can't wait to pip some of those out this coming season, thanks for sharing her Dale.

Congrats on the awesome clutch, those are some great looking babies. I hope they prove out for you. You can still make some awesome combos if they don't prove to be double het.(I hope they are, but just sayin)

Love of your life!

You can have him... for the love of your life!!! Nice Clown pick up, I like the Clowns too. Just sexed them both the Spiders are girls, so doesn't really matter whether they're Black Bees or just Spiders because I'll keep them and breed them regardless. The Black Pastel and the normal looking one are males

Congrats on the clutch they all look awesome

Congrats, I hatched out black bees earlier this year and both of them look like black bees. You can tell by the dark sides and they will have more patterning on the sides where the alien heads try to come through.
